“Visited this restaurant 2 weeks ago with my daughter for lunch the food was amazing the staff where lovely coudnt do enough to make you feel welcome the owner and the chef ?‍? a big??to both of you's for excellent preparation of food will definitely be back ?”

“The Battlefield Rest has the potential to be a very special restaurant indeed, but the dishes we had on this particular occasion were just lacking the wow factor, portion sizes weren't consistent and the starters were very skimpy. Staff were for the most part very professional. I had the crab linguine, which wasn't bad, but the king prawns were tiny and identical to ones you can pick up in a supermarket fridge and the plate was rather small. It was also slightly lacking flavour. Other members of our group had main courses that were much greater in quantity. I would love to be able to give the Battlefield Rest an extra star, but going by its reputation I expected more.”

“We booked for a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was busy so booking is a must.We had purchased an Itison voucher and a separate menu was given. This had a great choice and we were not disappointed with our 2 courses. We were given a glass of prosecco on arrival which was a lovely touch. We opted for a few additions and were more than happy to pay for these extras. The restaurant is really beautifully decorated and all staff were very attentive and friendly. We will return when we are next in Glasgow as the main menu looked very appealing.”

“This was my second visit to Trevi in a week and on both occasions the food was excellent. One of the best bruschetta’s I have ever had. There is plenty to choose from on the menu. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. A slight niggle was there could have been longer between us getting our starter and main course on our second visit, however as it was later on a Thursday night I get that. I would highly recommend Trevi for an Italian meal in battlefield.”

“Came here for dinner and it was great! Had the mozzarella fritter to start which was so fresh and yummy. Then the burrata and truffle tortellini which was the nicest pasta I have had in a long time! Then finished with the panna cotta which was good. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were attentive and polite. Great food and great service! Would return.”

“Found this wee restaurant while our shopping in the city centre, it was very quiet inside so getting a table wasn't a problem.Food was delicious and staff were nice and would definitely recommend.”
