The curry dishes taste very good. The staff are very patient and friendly. Good choices for vegan eaters too.

First visit to the Kantipur and won’t be the last. Very friendly service, really good quality buffet food. Chicken pakora was delicious, as were the samosa’s, tasted homemade. About 10/12 choices of main choices. Plus different rices, noodles and ma’am bread. Choice of desserts and tea/coffee too. House wine was lovely and good value.

We were in Uddingston visiting for work and Kantipur was recommended to us. We went for the buffet option which was outstanding. There was a variety of starters that were regularly topped up and hot. You could choose from chicken tika, chicken wings, a variety of pakoras and more. Main courses there was about 6 different curries to chose from, we tried all off them and loved them all. When we come back to Uddingston we will be coming here again.

Came for in impromptu buffet as we were in the area, it didn’t disappoint! Been here loads over the last 30 odd years, the place has had a couple of name changes, went downhill a bit in recent years but I feel the current owners are making the place great again, the food is really good and worth the buffet price. I’m currently salivating as I type, looking forward to the next time…

Visited last night with family over from New Zealand and they were so impressed. We had the buffet and it was amazing. Like the fact they don’t overload it so it is replenished regularly and always great selection. They are so welcoming. Well worth a visit. Thank you Kantipur.

Buffet and five drinks offer, great value for money.Serving dishes not overfilled and regularly replenished so always fresh,good choice between chicken and lamb, spicy and sweet, salad bar, traditional starters and some different options, desert selection if you can still move!!! Staff friendly and service excellent Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Usually order a collection but tonight we sat in , food was amazing , buffet is spotlessly clean & fresh!! Only thing I wish is they had more selection of curry’s but it was amazing food and I would return!

Picked up a takeaway snack last night large vegetable pakora and chicken poori should have renamed it chicken poor!! as it really was very greasy shared with my husband and both of us were ill and we will certainly not be returning to this establishment !!!
