Sandwich was tasty and well filled, however the bread was stale. Would expect better for the price. And they don't take

Treated myself to a payday lunch at ‘Piece’, recommended by two of my work colleagues. Situated on Miller Street which runs adjacent to Queen Street to the East, this is a cracker of a Sandwich shop. I’ve always found the exterior very inviting as well - the neon Red lighting draws you in. My eye was instantly directed towards the ‘Reuben’ and i’m glad I made the choice. Choosing a Ciabatta as the Sandwich type, it was packed with ingredients and a proper, bulky serving of Pastrami. The Sauerkraut was great and the Garlic Mayo / Mustard finished off what was overall, an enjoyable eat. At around £5 / £6 it wasn’t too much of a stretch on the bank balance. The staff were friendly and didn’t hold back on the filling. I’ll definitely be back again!

Nicest people you're ever likely to meet, and there's nowhere I'd rather go for a piece. The baked goods are remarkable. I have an alarm set for brownies.?

I like coffee…more than that I like good service. If you like either of these things I highly advise a trip to Piece. A lovely place with wonderful staff…one day I’ll have a sandwich and leave another amazing review. Thanks for your service.

Bit of a queue but it moved pretty swiftly. Great menu with tempting choices for meat eaters and veggies alike. Very good value at about £6 for a baguette with lots of filling. Only thing was I found a wee piece of chicken in the Veggie Banh Mi (obviously by mistake) which I wasn’t bothered by but some may not be happy about cross contamination/allergies etc? But I cannot wait to go back. Definitely gonna try the cakes next time- they looked amazing!

A fairly decent sandwich but poor value for the expensive price.Worst thing is that they don't take cash.I'm trying to only use cash with the impending CBDC so won't be back.

**update**Have got over the extra £quid, now officially my favourite sandwich shop....never quite understood the term sandwich artist...now I do...visit and you will!!*Previous review*Great wee independent sandwich shop, some unusual options, a bit over highstreet prices, but well worth something a little bit magical.

I have just had THE BEST sandwich that I have ever had. They catered to my fussy vegetarian/vegan tastes. They adapted my sandwich to suit my fussy taste. Great cup of tea too! The service was friendly and accommodating. 5* I will definitely be back!!! I HIGHLY recommend!Vegetarian options: I am a fussy vegetarian. I don’t take butter and don’t like coriander. They managed the change my sandwich option to suit me. It was the BEST. Sandwich that I have ever had in my life! 5* Friendly, helpful service too.Parking: I managed to park straight outside in a disabled bay.
