“This is a pleasant place, with what seems like nicely reclaimed wood tables and paneling. More important is the outstanding service coupled with delicious food. Our fillets were perfectly prepared, with a subtle rub that enhanced, rather than smothered, the flavor of the beef. If we lived in Scotland, we would be regulars here.”

“Visited this restaurant last night. I want to give this a 5 star however, I’m giving it 4 stars because it took about 15 mins for our drinks to arrive after we ordered them - bear in mind that it wasn’t super busy so slightly disappointed by the slow service. As a waitress myself, I appreciate when drinks come out fast as it really sets a nice atmosphere for the night.
The music was also too loud, and slightly off-putting as it was difficult to hear everyone outside of the music playing.
Apart from that, the food was delicious and they very accommodating to gluten free dietary requirements as they had a separate gluten-free menu with plenty of amazing options.
I didn’t catch their name, but our server was lovely. They were super attentive and very friendly. Would come back again :)”

“This was an amazing dining experience at Edinburgh. Jack and Megan looked after us so well from the moment we arrived. The menu was explained to us and we were able to talk through our likes to choose the correct cut. Service from Megan was so attentive and dishes were presented quickly. Jack also checked in on us too to ensure we had enough drinks, etc. The food itself was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I never thought I’d eat a dish of grilled peppers but they were yum!! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.”

“Went here for lunch, quite quiet for midday but the staff were lovely. The haggis bon bons were absolutely delicious! I got the burger as my main, the burger and toppings were very tasty however the bun just fell apart. My onion rings were a bit undercooked but apart from that it was a nice meal.”
