“Perfect in every way. T bone was fab , perfectly cooked , top quality and so tender, melt in mouth. Beers and dessert was also top notch. Finally ambience and service on a busy Friday night was exceptional. In summary, best steak house I’ve been to in years. Shame I don’t live in Glasgow !.”

“Had a lovely meal here for our anniversary and combined wife's 40th birthday. Our server, Michelle, was fantastic and friendly. There was a wee mix up with the way our steaks were cooked, but no big drama as we just swapped (although it was two different cuts), the food was good and the added bonus of the lovely anniversary cake was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend and we would happily return!”

“Take their lunch set menu: street corn is amazing! However, the rump steak is just okay - good but not that surprising. Almond tart is good also they have a good red wine from Rioja.I will come back to try other types of steak :)”

“Absolutely stunning meal in the loveliest venue with some of the most friendly and professional staff I have come across in Glasgow- Lesley served us and couldn't have been a better host! I frequently dine out, it's my preferred way to spend my weekends and I have yet to find a steak tastier than the ones I've had at Alston. This time around my friend and I went on the Thursday evening for their Chateaubriand deal- You get a beautiful chateaubriand to share, you get 2 sides (we went for the greens and Herby potatoes- delicious), 2 sauces ( peppercorn and chimichurri- very tasty) and a bottle of wine!- All for £70!! We also got an additional side of Garlic Mushrooms which might be my new favourite side dish- meaty mushrooms in copious amounts of garlic butter. Excellent value for money and in my opinion one of the best steak deals I've had for the quantity, quality and the price! Cocktails were great also and explained to me from knowledgeable and friendly bar tenders- Thanks Jim and Michael :) Definitely recommend!”

“Have been with my friend a number of times and wrote a review on another platform. On Sunday we also had the company of another couple who hadn't been before. Jackie, the manageress, was so welcoming and showed us to our table. The starters and main courses, all different, were just lovely and so perfectly presented. As we were leaving the other couple definitely said that they would return and yes they picked up a loyalty card.”

“Came here for dinner and it was great! Had the mozzarella fritter to start which was so fresh and yummy. Then the burrata and truffle tortellini which was the nicest pasta I have had in a long time! Then finished with the panna cotta which was good. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were attentive and polite. Great food and great service! Would return.”

“My Husband and I visited with my son , daughter in law and our grandchildren for Sunday lunch. Ore server was called Allison , she is very friendly , polite and very competent. She makes us feel very welcome, takes the orders and delivers the meals piping hot, she takes the time to speak to my Grandchildren .the food was amazing very large portions and very tasty. We tried meals and deserts from the new menu Allison rooke time to reccomend the chocolate brownie to my Granddaughter.Allison checked every thing was ok with our meal before bringing the bill. I just wish all your staff were like Allison,Parking: Disabled parking right outside the door and loads of free parking you just need to pop In your registration number”
