I had high expectations for Cocktails and Steaks. However, as they say, first impressions last. We (my wife and I) booked for 6 o’clock on a Sunday evening. Booked online and paid a deposit of £10 per person. We were seated and given a chance to peruse the menus. For a steak venue I found the wine selection to be poor. Beautiful venue, with great food but poor service. We hadn’t finished our drinks and we were asked to leave (2x half bottles of wine). No time for dessert and if we had a starter we would have had to rush our mains. I appreciate that there is a two-hour table slot but the speed of service needs to match this.
Absolutely devastated to have to post this but I’m so upset & disappointed that I can’t ignore our experience. We booked for Christmas Eve afternoon & were fully aware of our 2hour slot yet have left tonight feeling super sad.
