First time and certainly will not be the last. We always had the impression that we would feel uncomfortable going to a fine dining restaurant, we need not have worried the atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were attentive without being overly so. We both said the food was amazing well presented and

An amazing evening of food and wine. We had the tasting menu and it was fantastic food and wine and the server's knowledge was really good. Few little niggly downsides would be, slightly overpriced, I have had better meals for that much money, the host on arrival was watching the rugby on an iPad which was slightly disappointing, and also on one course (cheese) our server was explaining the wine pairing and was rudely interrupted by another server with the course, she could have waiting for one minute it wasn't warm food. That feedback is more for the restaurant, don't let it put you off though if you want a special date night.

Absolutely delicious food paired with an inviting atmosphere. Tess , our server, went above and beyond, displaying genuine sweetness and patience while accomodating our party of 13.

Fixed price A la carte menu excellent though somewhat expensive, typically 4 options per course. Taster menu v popular. Nice subdued decor, 80s music. Staff very friendly, describing courses in detail. Should always book.

I’ve been there twice - one for tasting menu and another for Burn’s Night, and I do recommend everyone to come as they are quite amazing! From cocktails, wines, foods to the coffee after meal, I cannot tell which one is the best because all of them are impressive!

Absolutely excellent meal.We went for a birthday and the staff did a really thoughtful card.Service from Tess was terrific.Highlights from the tasting menu were the cod with octopus as well as the venison dish, but it was all really balanced and paced. If you're in Glasgow, make it your business to set time aside for The Gannet and make sure to get the drinks pairing. Thanks to all, Amanda and Zoe

Tasting menu was fantastic, service was brilliant. The seafood was a highlight:One dish was North Sea Cod, Octopus, Aoili, Black Garlic, Paella/PX - it was a standout, with brilliantly balanced flavours and textures.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian tasting menu was easily comparable to the meaty version and £20 cheaper.

We have been to the Gannet quite a few times and always enjoy the experience. Formal but relaxed dining that competes well with some of the more highly regarded restaurants. The Burns inspired menu this month was excellent. Not cheap, but actually very good value for money if you are looking for something that little bit different and special.

always special eating at the Gannet - and not disappointed by their imaginative Burns Supper - thank you everyone.

We had the tasting menu. What a good decision. Each dish was amazingly prepared and delicious. My partner doesn’t each fish so, at a moment notice, they changed her dish to vegetarian. If anything could have turned me vegetarian, this place could have. The service is outstanding, wine list amazing. This place is, hands down, one of, if not THE, best restaurant in Glasgow. The chefs are magicians.
