Upmarket restaurant in a small country village serving a delicious, good quality range of food. We enjoyed Saturday night dinner at this restaurant and I was particularly impressed when the days special was Ox Cheek. It did not disappoint! I enjoyed a melt-in-the-mouth beautifully prepared dish and was toiling to finish it all. Thankfully we'd shared bruschetta to start...the portion was more than enough for two and it was delicious. I'd highly recommend 119 and will most definitely be back.

Very disappointed.I ordered a Mojito but tasted funny.After waiting 1 hour for our food to arrive, the crispy skin on my husbands chicken wasn't crispy. Otherwise this dish was fine.My ribeye steak on the other hand was rare when should have been med/well done. I sent it back and when it came back was tough, grisly and fatty. I couldn't swallow some of it!I had high hopes for this place but alas will not be back.I only offered to pay half butwaitress said owner could only take £5 off.She did say she doesn't work there..Only helping out as short staffed.

AVOID!!! Don’t send your food and keep your money.Placed an £40 order for delivery last Thursday. Phoned 2 hours later to see where it was and was advised that the ticket never made it to the kitchen. They apologised profoundly and assured me the refund had been made.Got in contact again 4 days after where I was advised they knew nothing about this and I need to speak to “mealzo”. Very concerning to hear this after you assume it’s being taking care of.After going away and speaking to the staff they finally acknowledged that they did say it would be refunded. However now it comes with a 3-5 day delay on the refund…But here we are 9 days later now and still no sign of the refund. Being palmed off by the restaurant with its “not out problem we don’t have your money” but we are trying to help you. You are not doing me a favour by refunding the money you are due

Had a fab meal out last night with friends! 10 of us in total including kids. The food and cocktails were amazing and right on our doorstep. What more can you ask for ?♀️ Would highly recommend to everyone.

Wish to thank the staff of 119 for the lovely experience you gave my husband and myself yesterday. The restaurant was opened up early for us and the owner and staff were so kind. The food was amazing, we had the ribeye sharing platter which was cooked to perfection. We will definately be back, once again thank you so much.
