This review is for Buckley’s Inverkip Marina *****Excellent all round - staff, food and venue. The setting is wonderful.Three of us went for dinner last night as a last minute decision. So glad we did, it was great and we will definitely return??Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly and plenty of room. Tables are not all squashed together.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room.

Decided to try somewhere local rather than go to Glasgow. Buckley’s is a tapas-style gem in Gourock, The food was superb, offering a delightful array of flavors, and the extensive menu provided a wide selection. We are already looking forward to returning with friends next time.

My cousin and I and two kids at the age of 3. 2 kids meals and a few dishes and it was £77quid.(SHOCKING) Food was really nice but not £77 nice...please be be careful..not 4 the faint heart...

Our Christmas Lunch What can I say that I have not said in the l last 4 times I have been here, this time with work colleagues , outstanding service from the girls . And the 15 plates we had were outstanding in quality and portions size for 5 and that includes 3 x big guys ?so thank you small plates we will be back 10/10?

Small plates - was expecting a little bit more. Maybe it was just our luck but we ordered 5 different items and most were just drowned in sweet chilli sauce.

First time on Saturday 2nd Sept.....well impressed!The staff were fabulous, great advice on how and what to order. We ordered a couple of plates each and shared. Depending on your own intake, two or three plates per person will satisfy your hunger.The food was fresh and delicious. I'm certainly going to return soon and I would advise you to give it a try. Easy to book a table and time online.

What a lovely surprise finding this little gem! Passing through Gourock tonight on the way home to Dunoon my husband and I and two friends stopped looking for a small bite of food. We noticed this place and it mentioned small bites. It was very busy and we were asked if we had booked, which we hadn't. We explained we really only want a quick bite and away and one table which was reserved became available for us. The lady who helped us get a table was friendly and went out her way to fit us in. There was a great choice of smaller bites on the menu. I'm vegetarian and had a good choice too. I only wish we had booked as the food was really tasty and would have loved to have stayed longer. We will definitely book soon. Happy to travel the ferry across for some well cooked different food from a happy lovely group of busy staff. You've got this place just right, please open one in Dunoon. See you soon.Vegetarian options: I'm vegetarian and was delighted with the choices. I ate grilled halloumi with grilled peaches, a tasty dressing. It was delicious and wish we had the time to try more. Zucchini fries sound great for next time with some other small bites. A great idea having smaller portions where you can order a few plates.

I came to Gourock with my life-long friend, I was visiting from Nottingham- and she noticed Buckley's last time she visited the area. She thought it was somewhere that would appeal to me. She wasn't wrong! A beautiful place with a wide range of small plates/tapas. I am vegetarian and still struggle to find decent food on my frequent visits back home in Scotland. The food was varied- plenty of choice for me- light, healthy and delicious. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I know this is a place I will return to regularly. My fish-loving friend adored it too! Highly recommended.
