Totally terrific!!! The four of us ordered 3 mains, a spinach dish (saag paneer), rice, pappadom, chana puri, lamb ragan josh, butter chicken and more!! Gorgeous and delicious!! The garlic naan was extraordinary. Some of us were not Indian food fans… But we are now!!! “For the first time of Indian food, it was amazing!!”Be sure to come to this place. They had a table for us on a crowded night. The atmosphere was calm and lovely.

Tulsi Indian Aroma is a popular Indian restaurant located in Gourock, a small town in the west of Scotland. The restaurant offers a range of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, biryanis, and vegetarian options. The restaurant is located in a beautiful spot, with stunning views of the nearby river and hills.Upon arrival at Tulsi Indian Aroma, the first thing that struck me was the warm and friendly welcome from the staff. The restaurant is well-decorated, with traditional Indian artwork adorning the walls. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with dimmed lighting adding to the intimate atmosphere. The menu at Tulsi Indian Aroma is extensive, with plenty of options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. I started with the mixed pakora, a popular Indian appetizer made with a variety of vegetables and spices. The pakora was delicious, with a crispy exterior and flavorful filling. For my main course, I opted for the lamb rogan josh, a classic Indian dish made with tender lamb in a rich and spicy tomato-based sauce. The dish was excellent, with the lamb cooked to perfection and the sauce bursting with flavor. One of the standout dishes at Tulsi Indian Aroma is the chicken tikka masala. This dish is a British favorite, and Tulsi Indian Aroma's version is one of the best I've tasted. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the creamy tomato sauce was perfectly balanced with the spices. The service at Tulsi Indian Aroma was excellent throughout my meal. The staff were attentive and friendly, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. The restaurant was busy, but the staff managed to keep up with the demand, and my food was served promptly. In terms of pricing, Tulsi Indian Aroma is reasonably priced, with dishes ranging from around £7 to £15. The portions are generous, so you definitely get value for money.Overall, I would highly recommend Tulsi Indian Aroma to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian food in Gourock. The restaurant's warm and friendly ambiance, combined with its excellent food and service, make it a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian cuisine.

My first visit in January was great, the service was top notch and the food was excellent. My recent visit was terrible. I came in for lunch with my daughter and spent £31 on food that could have been from a supermarket, it was very poor and served to us by a guy who gave me the impression he’d rather have been anywhere else. He actually looked disappointed when we came in the door, possibly because there was no one else there when we arrived so he could sit and watch videos on his phone in peace before we arrived. There’s a much better Indian restaurant closeby, which is consistently excellent and the staff always fall over themselves to give you a good experience.

Awful experience visiting today, we asked for our food to be plated to take home and the waitress then decided to throw the majority of our order in the bin, we didn’t even receive an apology or discount even though we had barely even touched our full order. The food was substandard and received very little in terms of meat. They appeared to have plenty of staff however when one is needed they are nowhere to be seen. I’ve been before and it was far better! However I will never be returning due to the lack of customer service and Knowledge from employees

Really nice and spacious Indian restaurant with friendly staff. Had a chicken chilli starter if you like it hot this is the 1 for you while my pqrtner had chicken chaat which both were excellent. Main course I had south Indian chilli chicken which was also really good while my partner had another chicken dish which I can't remember the name of but also very good not as much sauce as the South Indian but still really nice . Had a garlic naan which wasn't far off the size of the table easily enough for 2 to share and a Palau rice. Highly recommend and will definitely go again. In my opinion best Indian restaurant in Inverclyde.

10 of us including a 3, 10 and 15 year old. Went out for 6pm. Good variety of meals for all of usWas midweek and dining in was quiet but plenty coming in for take away collections.Didn't take any pictures unfortunately but there was plenty given from the mixed grill, curries, naans, fish n chips and the kids meal too

First time at Tulsi, but will not be my last. Food was excellent and freshly made. Chicken pakora starter followed by South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken with sweet naan bread.Service was excellent, the chef even came out to ask our thoughts on the food. Will be back soon.

First I would point out that the majority of Google reviews for this restaurant are not for Tulsi, they were left for MyKitchen, this is a dishonest practice and a red flag.We ordered home delivery a couple of weeks ago, we had heard the place had just opened and were keen to give it a try.The food quality was reasonable, the ingredients seem to be authentic. The flavours weren't to my liking, too sweet but I was the only one who thought this. The value for money was where my low rating comes from, the meals consisted mainly of sauce, very little in the way of protein ingredients. The biggest disappointment was the price, we had 2 vegetarian meals with rice, one chicken meal with rice, 2 breads and veg pakora. The price including a small tip (7%) to the driver came to £60.00The prices are akin to city centre restaurants, I can't see the locals supporting this for too long.

Fantastic waitstaff at this Indian restaurant. The food is fresh and the naan is fantastic. I had the 2 course meal for L10.95. The samosas were good. The chicken curry was really good! Come in for a visit and stay awhile.

First visit and not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, waiter Alex was informative and knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food was fresh and delicious. The chef came out to chat....very encouraging. A reasonable bill for four with shared starter, mains, nanns and two drinks £120. A very enjoyable night.
