Really good bar when we can get in, however one bouncer does not let us in even though we were legal age of requirement this has happened a variety of times, suggest this gets checked out immediately

The perfect place for a night out in Gourock for any age group. Clientele and staff are very welcoming. The pub is also directly across the street from the train station.

Some lovely whiskys and great fun chatting with the regulars. The owner Jim also doubles as Greenock’s very own Ringo Starr. Whole heartedly recommend.

Fab boozers with a superb selection of drinks. Landlord Jim is a super host that makes you welcome. Vintage feel in the bar with an artdeco vibe. Vintage Tennents glasses make you feel young again. Must visit.

We visit the pub on our boys away days. We are never disappointed. There are a few regular characters propping up the bar who are happy to have a bit of banter with us. Jim the landlord is a true Gentleman. Great selection of drinks. Whisky and wine selection is particularly good. We will back to see you in the next few weeks.
I’m 56 and old enough to enjoy a vintage pub. A real pub no discos no hot food but a landlord Jim who knows his clientele. Great range of drink and value of money
Erin S
Great Hospitality from Jim. Vintage Toilets but great choice of Drinks. Great whisky choice and knowledge. Be back soon.
