Stood around like a spare tool whilst the only server took his time making a roll and bacon and didn't even acknowledge the cue that's there. Ended up being served by someone else who came round. The server scraped the vegan steak bake off the tray. Worst greggs I've ever had as it seems like they didn't wash the trays and instead just put greaseproof paper on top of dirty trays. The bottom of my bake was riddled with burnt grease and tasted horrible!! It was as if the tray was previously used for meat products and the grease has burnt the baking paper and caused the bottom of the bakes to be black, burnt and tasting like burnt meat. Absolutely shocking standards. I'll be steering well clear of this branch!Also what's up with the speed the workers at most greggs branches work at? Big cues and they deliberately take their time making morning rolls (the downfall of Greggs!). Won't be long before these workers do themselves out a job and they install a self service area for the baked goods, instead of a 30 second transaction taking 15 mins waiting for folk to get coffees and rolls made by the super slow workers.

They have taken their eye of the ball. Regularly two staff on, one doing large just eat orders, one doing the baking and removing food from the ovens while there are over 10 people waiting in the shop to get served. Aulds is dearer but so much better.

When we reached the counter in this shop were met by a rude, arrogant, passive aggressive server. His name badge stated his name was David. We asked a simple question regarding whether or not a certain item was hot in which he replied in a very defensive rude manner, "we don't sell hot food, this is not a hot hold unit". Couldn't make eye contact and shouted, "other card machine" when we were paying. This individual should not be working with the public. Greggs, you have lost a customer and will lose a lot more if this is your standards
