The steak pie was just awful, very thick hard pastry and when you managed to cut it, it was absolutely swimming in gravy with very little meat that was very chewy, not appetising at all ☹️

Mixed grill , 2for1 jack burger meals (Friday deal), mac n cheese, garlic bread & fries, 4 soft drinks all less than £40 with my blue light discount card , food was really nice hot and tasty, service was excellent and quick (6pm) started to get really busy an hour later, looking forward to going back.

This used to be me and my bf’s go-to place. But now its more 1 Bruse Street. Went to Tail of Bank today as everywhere else was shut, Bruce St, Steak House, Albany were all cloesd, so came here. My bf's chips were hollow! (which only means these were leftover chips, and deep fried AGAIN), my chicken was dry af. We were both disdappointed. Also, it was a cold/wet day, i asked for a coffee, and NO coffee except a Americano were available! I had a tea which was rotten. Not to mention you don't even get given your cutlery with meal. I had two elderly people next table to me, who weren't happy with this either. This was suppoesd to be BF's bday meal. I said i'd get him a better meal next time, like not in here!
