I've been here before and had a great experience and it did not disappoint second time round! The waitress with the lovely colourful hair was amazing! Quick and great chat!

food was very good and the service by Anne Janice and Stephen was first class. They were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Gordon Ramsay would say SHUT IT DOWN!!! Place is FILTHY Food could kill someone it's that bad. None of our food was cooked correctly and id hate to see what there kitchen looks like Dam. Girl with the unprofessional hair style all different colours, think there's a job going at that KARENS diner that would suit your horrible attitude. She did nothing for us not even a decent welcome just how much stuff they didn't have on there menu, while the chef stood there clueless wondering what to do next, thinking hmm what will i microwave next yummy.!!! All meals were slammed down on to tables, Full of rude Staff especially miss 5 colours in her hair.!!!! we won't be back thankfully!!!!

Very short staffed. Had to queue 15-20mins to get a pint! Place looked empty. Think they had a couple of full tables up the back! Heard staff complain about other dinners at a table of 6 and another table! Very unprofessional . Food slow coming out. It was cold, my salmon was tasteless. Play area great. My boys loved it. Staff very stressed and could not seem to cope. Not sure we will be back.

Been a regular visitor to this restaurant whilst staying in the adjoining Premier Inn. When trying to order food or drink in the place is where it gets interesting. The ladies seem to use their time at work to catch up on the local gossip instead of serving paying customers. Standing at the bar, in full view of the bar staff, it seems like it’s more important for them to get caught up on the local scandal before taking orders. When you’re lucky enough to get your order in, there’s no “please” or “thank you”, just a grunted amount of money they want, before getting back to the chit-chat. I feel sorry for the young lad who seems to have to be in about 5 different places at once to make up for the shortcomings of his colleagues. It’s a pity, because the food & drink in here is really good…once you’ve been lucky enough to get it ordered.

A good spot for a freshly prepared hearty breakfast with great views (weather permitting!). Anne and Janice provide excellent, friendly service.

Ot side looked very neglected wth broken pottery pot cigarette pots, green slime all around the entrance and litter scattered around we entered due to the rain was coming down heavy.. we were greeted by pleasant enough waitress who explained our table number and if you wanted a drink you can go to the bar, odd. But eventually a waiter came and took our order, when it arrived the mixed grills were on the smallest plates I've seen and looked nothing like the picture...9 chips, two battered onion rings , a small gammon piece, small chicken pece, the toughest piece of steak , and 2000 peas.the lasagna smelt very nice but needed season, the fish and chips fine apparently, but all you could hear was the staffs encounters of their night out previously and who they saw, and how many drinks she had.. the place was lovely and warm but empty, but on leaving we saw others isat in another space which didn't know it was there... The coffee was very good though.. This was only our findings and may suit others..
