Brilliant food, brilliant service, and plenty of choice! We received excellent service here from Ewan last week! Really impressed with the value of food and drink here too.

Despite the rain great place to visit, with some great shops. Cafe quite expensive, but does allow dogs which was great as there wasn't any covered outdoor seating. We were lucky as wedding about to take place while we were there, and the bagpipes made the atmosphere.

Only had a sandwich and a cuppa, very busy lots having full meals, service was good for the amount of people there

Just had a scone and coffee due to not being too hungry but was tempted by the variety of hot meals.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to and from Perthshire from Nottingham. The food was satisfactory but filling. Both times we had to wait a while to pay (the first time because there was no-one there and the second time was just slow). The seating area could do with cleaning up after others more frequently.

It is a our favourite spot for a quick stop on route to England and on our return journey. Was quite crowed this time, a lot of Coach parties stopping for their midday break.Parking: Generally it is quite easy to get a space. But this time was a little more difficult as we like to use the disabled spaces when and where available as we have folk with mobility problems.

Food was great the Steak Pie is to die for, but the premesis are a little tired and confusing layout of service and self service

We made a quick stop here on our tour just for a short break. We got only a snack, so really didn't get to sample the food selection. We had a scone.

It is a good spot and made a change from gretna services. However, you order your food cantine style and the server plates your selection. That is fine. However, I ordered the cottage pie, and also saw some garlic bread slices. I asked for garlic bread and was told I could only have that with macaroni and some other pasta dish as there were limited numbers. I find that service rude TBH. If you are displaying food to order and a customer then asks for that when its there and is paying for it- you should serve them it. I dont see why it was such a problem. We also order lasagne and chicken goujons. The food taste was OK, the pie and lasagne were a bit bland though, they really needed some more flavour. They were also luke warm- I would have preferred much hotter. Price wise the food was reasonable. Althugh I did think having £3 extra for chips on all the places was a bit strange. Plenty of seating available- and it is is a nice atmosphere.

Lovely place with lovely staff. They didn't have a great selection of certain things, and only had long life milk to go in tea ? but everything else was great ?

Stopped here on a coach trip from London SE to Loch Awe in Scotland and of course the coach made the obligatory stop at Gretna Green, which putting it bluntly is nothing but a tourist trap, it certainly doesn't feel original in any way, with not much to see other than shops, foodhall, cafeteria and a museum.Personally I was very disappointed!
