Staff polite and welcoming. Room was of a very large size with a very spacious en-suite with shower. Breakfast was very good and very filling.Rooms: It was a real pity that the room carpet was stained, otherwise owe would have given it full marks.

The bed was one of the biggest and most comfortable I've ever slept in. The staff were exceptionally helpful, nothing was too much bother as long as the customers were happy and the food was great. The drink was very good as well.Rooms: They were well equipped, large and airy. Only thing missing was a small fridge or chiller.

Enjoyed the stay lovely food helpful staff first room allocated was in poor and smelly condition however when highlighted this to the reception we were given a much better alternative. It is very annoying when you turn up to a hotel for a break and you are allocated a poor standard room but thankfully it was resolved for us

Lovely Hotel close by to the Blacksmiths.I didn't stay over so can't comment on the accommodation.The Bar and Restaurant areas are nice and tastefully decorated (especially given that the main building is such an old building)?.The Service is good, the Staff are really friendly and helpful.The Food is good, although we were in a Wedding Party of about 20 and found that the food came out luke warm, which was a shame as it looked and did taste great If they sort out the food temperatures, it would be Five Stars ?Even with the small food issue, it's definitely worth a visit.Nearby activities: The Blacksmiths Wedding Venue is a 5 minute walk

Family wedding,the staff were amazing ,we had lovely food and were well looked after,nothing was to much trouble.Stewart the concierge was very helpful and even though he was very busy was always available if needed.Nearby activities: Good shops not to far away.Food & drinks: Good food,only downside drinks are expensive,but it is a hotel.

We had our wedding ceremony there on 24th March at Gretna, could not fault the Hotel, all guests stayed over for 2 nights 20 and we had a super time❤️❤️And the sun shone the whole day xRooms: John and I had a bridal suite couldn't fault itAlso no complaints from any of our guestsWalkability: Gretna Hall is walkable to the Blacksmiths and shopsFood & drinks: Food perfect from start to finish, couldn't fault, presentation very good considering the amount of weddings going onHats off to all the staff in particular the chefs ??

We married in the Famous Blacksmiths shop on 22/3/2024 and stayed here at the Gretna Hall Hotel for 2 nights. The room was lovely and clean with beautiful views. All the staff were very friendly and the service provided was excellent and the food was divine. We had a 3 course meal on both nights and my goodness was it all to perfection. Especially the 24 hour braised Scottish rump of beef, it was so tender that it literally came apart with hardly any effort. My husband and parents loved the Galloway marmalaide bread and butter pudding. I must also mention the breakfast which was definitely another highlight, having a self service full Scottish breakfast each morning being plentiful of choice and all cooked perfectly. My party of 6 were all very impressed with this hotel and we will definitely return ASAP. Thank you all so very much
