My wife and I came here last year and we had to try again, the food was amazing! We had the crying tiger steak bites to start, they were some of the best bits of meat I've ever hard. We then had the mussels in a panang sauce, perfection! That good we had to get crackers for the left over sauce! We were then treated last night to a full Grouper fish and rice sensational! We cannot get over how nice this place is and all that entails. Can't wait to dine in more. 5/5!!

Unbelievable. One of the best Thais I’ve had. Chips and fried rice was a new recommendation and went I will never not eat fried rice the same. Top people

We tried this wonderful Thai restaurant last night as family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids (13 & 8), my husband and daughter had the crying tiger beef bites to start, I had chicken gyozas, all delicious as I tried Tiger bite too, the flavour was amazing, for our mains husband and daughter had drunken noodles with chicken, i had panang curry with chicken, my son had massaman curry with chicken, my mouth is watering just thinking about it again, food and flavours delicious, intimate restaurant with friendly staff, nice atmospheric music in the background, unfortunately no photos too busy enjoying the food, can't wait to go back

Didn’t dine in so cannot comment on the atmosphere but the food we ordered (Pad Thai, Crying tiger beef bites and chicken gyozas) were all really delicious. Pad Thai was best I’ve ever tasted. The beef was very tender and the dipping sauce for the gyozas was fresh and packed with flavour. Would definitely recommend and will definitely go back.Vegetarian options: Each main seems to have a tofu version and there were vegetarian starters such as vegetable gyozas

As if the customer service wasn’t so good the food was impeccable the crying tiger beef .. there are no words expect perfection the bbq street chicken was unreal also the Panang curry with the Thai prawn crackers was to die for a don’t know what’s going on back there in the kitchen but it’s got to be witchcraft or wizardry ?‍♂️ please don’t leave Hamilton when you make it big ???

Pad T'Aye in Hamilton is a true gem for those seeking authentic Thai cuisine. The quality of food here is unparalleled, with each dish showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients that come together in a perfect harmony of flavours. The tang in their dishes is balanced just right, cutting through the richness and leaving a memorable taste. The interior, inspired by Thai culture, adds to the charm of this small but heartfelt establishment. It's cosy and inviting, making you feel transported to Thailand itself, alongside the banging beats! The staff at Pad T'Aye truly make the experience special. Their down-to-earth nature and evident passion for Thai cuisine add a layer of warmth to the dining experience that's rare to find.A highlight of their menu is the Crying Tiger Beef – an absolute must-try that leaves a lasting impression with its succulence and depth of flavour.I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Pad T'Aye. It's a place that combines great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and genuine hospitality to create a dining experience that's both authentic and memorable.

I had a table booked at lunchtime for myself and husband today, we've been wanting to go for a long time and we were very happy we got the opportunity to try the new lunch menu. Genuinely the best Thai food we've both ever tasted, in fact it was probably the best meal out we've ever had!! I had high hopes from reading all the fantastic reviews but was even better than we'd expected. The flavours were fresh and just incredibly delicious. We had drunken chicken noodles, tofu pad thai, tofu massaman curry and veg gyozas, as a vegetarian it was a novelty for me being able to pick any option and it was adapted with tofu. Everything was cooked to perfection - thank you.

First time trying pad t'aye and won't be the last. What a fantastic little hidden gem in Hamilton. Had the crying tiger bites for starter and massaman curry for main. Crying tiger bites were some of the best starters I've had in in an Asian restaurant, absolutely bursting with flavour and heat and the lime coriander dip was exquisite. Very chilled atmosphere , you would feel like you have your own private dining room , and the staff are all very friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
