The food was obviously freshly made and accompanied salad tasty and fresh. We were ample to hear each other even though a busy lunchtime. Nice surroundings and music at a gentle background level. All in all, thoroughly enjoyable our experience. Thank you to the helpful attentive friendly staff.

My visit began with the soup of the day — a vibrant, freshly-prepared tomato soup crafted by chef Adam. Delicately infused with basil and a well-judged blend of seasoning, it was a flavourful and comforting start. This was followed by a BBQ and bacon burger, served with a tasteful garnish. The beef was clearly fresh, expertly seasoned, and complemented by a buttery, crisp seeded bun that added just the right amount of texture.
To finish, I indulged in an Oreo sundae, served in a beautifully presented cocktail glass — a playful and satisfying end to the meal that left me content. Price was very agreeable too.
The service was another delight. Drinks were served promptly and with genuine warmth by Rebecca, whose attentiveness and friendly nature elevated the experience. Rebecca is a treasure to the customer service of the business.
In all, this hidden gem in Hamilton is a welcoming escape with quality food, great service, and a laid-back atmosphere. Highly recommended.

137 Quarry St, HamiltonAfter seeing the food on Facebook Reels, myself and a couple of friends decided to pay a visit while I was visiting them from down south and in the area. We were not disappointed. I just went for the standard Donner kebab and veg pakora. Kebab meat cut nice and thin which meant cooked well and easy to eat. The kebab sauce had a sweetness which I personally prefer rather than full on chilli hit and it went well with the meat. Salad was standard fare. Veg pakora was small pieces( but plenty of them) so again you can be sure fully cooked. Nice and crispy even after driving home to eat it. Staff were friendly and proud of the food they sell and rightly so. Will definitely be back when visiting my friends and one of them has decided to now become a regular visitor. He had the stir fry donner which he thoroughly enjoyed and a special mention for the naan bread used. Go if not been. You will not be disappointed.

They spoke to us like we'd been life long regulars. The bar and lounge area where clean , beautifully decorated and comfortable, toilets where also super clean. Decent pint and decent prices too. And the quiz was a great wee laugh. ( we didn't win lol ) although were 20 mins down the road we will definitely be back :)

They are an amazing dessert. The sponge is super light and soft and with the super tasty toffee sauce it's a delicious combo. The cafe itself is wonderfully decorated, and the service is extremely friendly and welcoming. The staff were happy to answer our questions about the coffee beans and chocolate origins, and they were also happy to make my wife her favourite flavored mocha.
The coffee is a dark roast, but not overly bitter. Quite pleasant as a mocha or flat white. They're happy to serve it as a double or single shot drink (if you prefer a less punchy coffee hit).
Would highly recommend Chocolat Blanc to anyone who is looking for a charming, relaxing cafe to enjoy an exceptional coffee and treat.

She was thoroughly pleased with HER food too. Wasn't bothered about the price and YES, happy to pay it again and absolutely WILL be back.

My visit began with the soup of the day — a vibrant, freshly-prepared tomato soup crafted by chef Adam. Delicately infused with basil and a well-judged blend of seasoning, it was a flavourful and comforting start. This was followed by a BBQ and bacon burger, served with a tasteful garnish. The beef was clearly fresh, expertly seasoned, and complemented by a buttery, crisp seeded bun that added just the right amount of texture.
To finish, I indulged in an Oreo sundae, served in a beautifully presented cocktail glass — a playful and satisfying end to the meal that left me content. Price was very agreeable too.
The service was another delight. Drinks were served promptly and with genuine warmth by Rebecca, whose attentiveness and friendly nature elevated the experience. Rebecca is a treasure to the customer service of the business.
In all, this hidden gem in Hamilton is a welcoming escape with quality food, great service, and a laid-back atmosphere. Highly recommended.

137 Quarry St, HamiltonAfter seeing the food on Facebook Reels, myself and a couple of friends decided to pay a visit while I was visiting them from down south and in the area. We were not disappointed. I just went for the standard Donner kebab and veg pakora. Kebab meat cut nice and thin which meant cooked well and easy to eat. The kebab sauce had a sweetness which I personally prefer rather than full on chilli hit and it went well with the meat. Salad was standard fare. Veg pakora was small pieces( but plenty of them) so again you can be sure fully cooked. Nice and crispy even after driving home to eat it. Staff were friendly and proud of the food they sell and rightly so. Will definitely be back when visiting my friends and one of them has decided to now become a regular visitor. He had the stir fry donner which he thoroughly enjoyed and a special mention for the naan bread used. Go if not been. You will not be disappointed.

1 Low Waters Rd, HamiltonHad my daughter's 21st birthday party in here on 14th march. It was flawless from start to finish. The venue was great, lovely big function hall & bonus of a pool table. The staff were outstanding from start to finish, nothing was a problem for them, very accommodating. It was a fantastic night & all down to the staff it ran smoothly, their DJ was absolutely great to played a good mixture of music & took requests. I would highly recommend the Barleycorn for an event, birthday party etc, you will have an ace night.x ????

41b Millgate Rd, HamiltonReally nice place & local to us. We got the chicken soup, chicken tikka and cheese baguette, some breakfast rolls and the Macaroni. Overall quite happy with everything. Our 9 month old demolished the soup. Girls on the counter were great and took the time to chat despite being really busy. Will be back ☺️

HamiltonGood bar! Loved this bar when it was "The Quarry" now that Mavrix have taken it over it's still as good! Loved the Pride event that was held there! It might become my new regular again! Missed going to The Quarry, I never ever tried it after it changed to Mavrix, but it was still good!
