Quick coffee and pastries before hitting the road on the remainder of our day's hike. Pastries were good!

Staying in Hawick on a short break and had travelled along the road to Jedburgh and saw the Cream Puff on our way there so travelling back we decided to stop for a cuppa. A lovely, friendly atmosphere with a great mix of locals and tourists. We opted for tea and lovely fresh scones with jam, all absolutely delicious. There was soup, sandwiches, toasties, panninis and a whole array of fresh, delicious looking cakes and traybakes. This is certainly somewhere we'd recommend if your in the area and somewhere we'll definitely visit again when we're next down this way.

Stopped off for lunch while on the Borders Abbey Way. It was lovely cafe with very welcome staff and a lovely friendly feel, popular with both locals and visitors. I made the most of my rest day (walking rather than running) and had soup and a sandwich (lovely fresh bread and great choice of fillings), followed by coffee and a tasty treat. Great wee rest stop. I’d thoroughly recommend it.
We were staying locally at the Ruberslaw Wild Camping and Campsite, when we decided to pay a visit to Denholm. We spent a little while in the small playground on the common green and then had lunch at Cream Puff. A great and busy wee place. A good selection of snacks and cakes. Really tasty and quick service from the team. Seems really popular for walkers and cyclists alike. Highly recommended for a light lunch or even coffees to go. Thank You!Kid-friendliness: Good selection of food which worked for our two, 4 and 7 year old.Parking: Free onstreet parking

You may have to wait, but good things come to those who do. The venue is small but constantly busy which shows how highly it's rated. It's also inexpensive but thar's not necessarily why trade is so brisk. Service is friendly and if there's a delay it's explained. We've been away a week and eaten out regularly but this was the best of all.
Great coffee & fresh pancake. Good service
