Had an amazing meal at Sultaans this New Year’s Eve, food was amazing. Service was spot on, gave us some time between courses and finished with a lovely complementary drink. We will continue to go as we have never once been disappointed. Happy new year to all the staff

My friends and I recently went to this restaurant for the first time. It was a wonderful experience, and we were served by a delightful young man with a tremendous mullet. We believe he said he was from Musselburgh but we never caught his name. The only disappointment of this experience is we never got his social media. Hit us up, Mullet Man! You’re great!

This was a case of " never judge a pub by its looks" Cracking pub, very friendly staff (Megan & kim), couldn't do enough for us and the dogs, they even managed to get us somewhere to eat that we could get the dogs in (Santa Marina Italian).Great pub, prices and staff?

Nice to see this pub open again. Had my first pint in here in 1969 when I was 16 lol before the school dance. Robert has made a nice job modernising the bar and has made it a nice pleasant place for a pint. Darts, pool and a 'juke box' available along with a small lounge.

Had a lovely decaf latte with a yummy snowball. ? Loved watching the wee chaffinches,mallard ducks & water hens. What a view looking onto the waterside (even better in the summer). The cafe sits in a wonderful park location - Wilton Lodge Park.Kid-friendliness: The cafe is opposite the kids' play park, where there are all sorts to play on. So the cafe is totally kid friendly.

Came across this place on my way to Hermitage Castle. Most unexpected. Old train engines and carriages on bits of railway lines. It was part of the old line between Hawick and Carlisle.It's only open occasionally and was closed when I was there. Still worth stopping and taking a look.

Lovely café, stopped here for a quick lunch. The two tables by the front are dog friendly. They have highchairs and good options for children. I had the lentil soup which was lovely. They have a few vegan options which is nice. The staff were friendly, would return.

I never post recommendations about anything coz I'm a fussy cynical yorkshire bird. I don't get take aways often but this is second time in a row I have had a kebab from caspians!!! Without the best kebab round here xx only downfm is they aren't on just eat so u have to pay in cash m they charge u £10 minimum if its a delivery!! I only ordered a kebab n the oke was that honest n decent he was suggesting things that would make it up to a tenner so really got it free xx can't recommend them enough xx. Much luv n respect xx

Tasty late lunch with my elderly father in law. Christmas sandwich was huge & delicious as was the parsnip soup. They had gone to a lot of effort to decorate for Christmas. Really nice atmosphere with cheerful swift service. Would highly recommend

Absolutely the best. It's the people who create a local & here the staff & the customers are a team to behold. Can't speak highly enough of everyone involved in this establishment. A strange mix sometimes but never a dull moment. Always a delight to be welcomed by a different personality behind the bar, a great group of people & a different kind of normal every single visit!Well done guys but don't share this with everyone because I'd be Grumpy AF if I didn't get a quiet night in the corner every now & then!

Well today was my first visit here as in the area on holiday. Mum brought me here as she's been before and I instantly fell in love with the place.The decor was fab. Quirky and really homely.The food! Was outstanding! So fresh and full of flavour. I had the bagel with houmous and tomatoes! It was just lush ?.I will most definitely be back again. Visit melrose regularly throughout the year but Hawick isn't too far away to drive to.Thank you for the lovely food, service and atmosphere.

This place is AMAZING. Their chicken wings are the best I've ever tasted. The staff are so courteous and friendly. Service was fast & efficient and the food was all cooked to perfection. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity. I can really recommend them, and we will definitely be back.

Jake and his wife and team run a very friendly, fun pub. As a solo traveler, they made me very welcome, with converstaion and banter alike. Football & sports on TV and great beers on tap. If you're walking home, don't have more than one "Fletchers Special" (a secret recipe)! Thanks Jake & team! See you again.

We actually walked past this place heading for the cafe but that was closed ?We were walking from Jedburgh to Hawick and this place was 1/2 way between. The pub was very quiet when we went in, but the staff were very friendly and efficient and what a great menu !Don’t go to the cafe, this place is excellent!
