My husband and I popped in with our baby today for some coffee and lunch. The stovies were delicious, the coffee just perfect and to top it off the staff could not have been friendlier! They kindly brought over a high chair as soon as we arrived. Couldn’t recommend the almond tree more.

Stopped in for some lunch today. Friendly service with a good and varied choice of menu. Offers half portions of meals if more suitable. Brilliant value. Hot and cold options available. Felt like the teapot was bottomless, think it was 3 cupfuls in total!

Visited with son, he had an Americano, I had a flat white to drink, both were very enjoyable. To eat, he had a roll and sausage followed by chocolate sponge (which was very very good!)and I had stovies followed by cherry and marzipan scone. Food was very tasty, as always. Service was quick and friendly, everything was piping hot Incredibly reasonably priced too.

This is a lovely wee cafe. It was spotlessly clean, the food was fresh and tasty and the staff were pleasant and efficient.

Popped into this lovely community cafe today for lunch. What a lovely welcoming, friendly place. There was such a nice vibe about the place. The food was plentiful and delicious and all made freshly to order. They had a good sized menu which is changed regularly. They had everything from soup, sandwiches, salads, deserts and the most brilliant home baking. We found out whilst speaking to the staff that they are all volunteers and assist young people who are struggling to find employment. They are taught a range of skills and it gives them experience of being in the workplace. What a fabulous bunch of people. We were well impressed and will defo be back for a visit the next time we are in Hawick. Well worth a visit.

A truly delightful visit today with a delicious lunch. Very friendly staff. Excellent value for money too. Was really pleased to support such a great initiative.

This cafe obviously attracts a large local clientele. However, my coffee was probably the worst I have had for over 20 years. My Americano with milk turned into a boiled milk extremely weak coffee. The slice we had was very good and the staff are pleasant.

Nice place, prices are good. The cakes are nice, coffee is nice and a good price. Only downside was a friend ordered baked potato and the potato was small could have done to be a bit bigger. The soup (potato and leek was lacking flavour they need to add stock to add flavour and the bowl was a bit small. Had these things been better it would have got five stars. Overall nice.
