I’ve eaten here countless times over the years, from when it was in its previous location. The food is consistently excellent as is the service and staff. I look forward to every visit and it is my go to restaurant for taking guests or recommending in the area. Best restaurant in Helensburgh and the surrounding area. Definitely try their Korean Fried Cauliflower (KFC)!Parking: 2-hours free parking in the town centre car park immediately behind the restaurant.

Been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. The food is always top quality, the service is good and it's very reasonable. Couldn't fault it and would definitely recommend

Very cool trendy edgy vibes. Went here with my girlfriend we loved it. The staff are super friendly and very helpful/knowledgeable with the menu and everything. Food was unreal. We got the French dip steak sandwich and the Mac n cheese. Very lovely cheers guys

Ah, the hidden jewel that is Riverhill Courtyard, nestled in an unassuming alley off the bustling main strip of quaint Helensburgh. Upon entry, the eye is drawn to the two-storey open plan kitchen and dining area—a modern-day hearth where culinary dreams take flight. The red brick walls and the Hammer Bell timber roof form a rustic cocoon, encapsulating the quaint charm and heartwarming aura of a countryside retreat. The casual yet warm greetings at the threshold might catch one off-guard with their loose formalities, a soft dance on the edge of tradition and contemporary hospitality. Yet, the grind of house staff swiftly shatter any inkling of pretentiousness with their sweet demeanor and earnest endeavors to please. The meal that followed was nothing short of a triumph. From starter to dessert, each course was an ode to the simple joys of well-cooked food. The olives were a humble yet hearty overture, the KFC cauliflower a playful romp in a field of textures, and oh, the Toblerone Martinis—a sweet, chocolaty finale that left a whisper of warmth as the night unfolded. Each bite was a gentle journey into the heart of comfort cuisine, each sip a soft caress of the soul’s longing for sweet, simple indulgences. Riverhill Courtyard is where the heart finds a beat resonating with the old and the new, a delightful bridge between the rustic charm of Helensburgh and the modern whimsy of contemporary dining. So if your culinary heart seeks a respite from the mundane, a stroll down the comforting lanes of well-cooked meals, Riverhill Courtyard awaits with open arms and a table set just for you. Venture into the heart of Helensburgh, and let the sweet, unassuming charm of Riverview Courtyard be your companion in a delightful evening of gastronomic contentment.

Had a lovely meal here with my sister. Food was really tasty. Service was extremely good. Would definitely recommend even for a drink.

Had steak. Really poorly presented with only 3 things on the plate. A bit of stake ( over cooked ) some cherry tomatoes and a small bowl of chips. For £35 they could have done better. Services was slow and they forgot about our request for desserts. Used to be the best restaurants in helensburgh but it wasn't last night.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here last week. They were able to adapt the menu to accommodate my need for gluten free and vegetarian options. Staff were lovely.

Visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday afternoon and seated immediately. Bit chilly outside, restaurant was lovely and warm. Staff were polite and friendly. Service was excellent and food was great. Cannot ask for more.

Had fish and chips, the batter was soggy and undercooked. The jerk lamb and sweet potato was underwhelming. So disappointing as we love having breakfast here.

Great restaurant and I'm a local so been a few times and food, cocktails, wine are always great. Also great for coffee and brunch during the day and very kid friendly. Only suggestion is there could be more vegetarian choice as I think I only saw one. I'm not a veggie but just thinking if I was taking someone who was they wouldn't have much choice. Mind you my friend asked for mac and cheese off the lunch menu and they were very accommodating. And also the cauliflower starter is immense ?

Just had a wonderful full Scottish vegetarian breakfast. With added hash browns. It was historic! Lovely old building been refreshed into a modern dining space. Great buzz to it and delicious food ?

An evening in a somewhat noisy restaurant, interesting decor, but the partly the bare walls-based acoustics reflecting adult conversations - sounded like Wetherspoons on a Friday night. Clean, but a bit sticky and very, very narrow table sets the scene. The starter was their KFC cauliflower. It's pretty sweet, crunchy and big enough to do two people as a starter. The picture got taken after we ate a couple. We've had it before and would have it again 5*, but half is enough, trust me.The steak was gorgeous as were the fries + some bland gravy. The macaroni cheese was good. The korean burger was an experience, seem to be the same sweet sauce as the KFC, ooooozed out everywhere, face hands plate. The paper napkin couldn't cope (see pic). Nice crunchy and moist chicken, but the sweetness did for me, so had to leave some. Not sure I detected the kimch or cheese as the quantity and sweetness of the sauce drowned everything. Wish I could have called on Moses to part the 'waters' of the sauce to reveal the burger and its companions. The pallid french, limp fries I didn't finish either, but the coleslaw was good. I'll try the mains next time I think.Highlight was the cocktails as desert. Oh and the steak.
