Left after waiting too long to be served. Waitress more interested in speaking to and serving locals or regulars first.

Basic menu options but tasty food, priced as to be expected in this sort of location. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good parking and great for stretching the legs for 10 minutes with lovely views of lomond. Well worth a

Only had a green tea here, as no vegan options other than the ubiquitous baked potato and beans! Nice place but poor on vegan which i understand is due to v little call for it. But it takes little imagination to be able to produce at least one other option from foods in normal use for non vegan dishes. Oh well!

Decided to visit to shelter from rain. Only serving drinks and cake. Ordered cake and coffee. View quite nice even in the rain. Coffe and cake arrived quite quicklyStaff friendly.

Good range of hot food and sweets. And drinks. Nice ambience. Wonderful view of the sea. Toilet was well-maintained. Nice spot to stop for food and drinks when walking between Helensburgh and Rhu. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly.

This was a very disappointing visit after have been several times before and enjoyed. My husband and I arrived at 2.25pm with our small dog. We were greeted very warmly by the waitress who gave the dog a treat after showing us to a table. We weren't given any menus so I went towards the kitchen and picked 2 up. A lady came in and asked for a sandwich. I overheard the lady in the kitchen say it was closed. I approached with the menus and said we were hoping for lunch not just coffee and cake. I was told in not uncertain terms "the kitchen is closed"...no apology. This is despite the menu stating lunch served till 3pm. I told my husband who packed up and we left. A polite apology wouldn't have been out of place.

Food was 'ok' but very bland and used the cheapest ingredients known to man.Service was absolutely rubbish. Staff are rude and unhelpful. A shame as the place could be really nice.
