Cakes etc looked amazing.But the burger and lasagne we had was yuk.There's a lovely big fire in the centre of the room, but on a cold Saturday afternoon in January it wasn't lit.I wouldn't go back.

Stopped here for a cracking breakfast. Had full Scottish breakfast and lots of tea. Service was great, food was excellent and really good value for money. Definitely recommend stopping in and having some great food at great

Nice, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere & surroundings. Unfortunately the Cullen skink soup we ordered tasted like hot water - couldn't taste the fish or in fact any other flavours. Jacket potatoes were OK, if slightly undercooked.

Food was perfect - Cullen skink soup was tasty and hot. Baked potato had good side salad. Good waiting service - they served soup first then waited until I was done before bringing out the main.
Tasty lunch, arguably best toasties and salad for a long time. Lovely young staff servers, polite and attentive. Big pot of tea for two. Sweet potato soup needed a wee bit of spice but all in all a lovely lunch.

We stopped for some soups on the way up north and we had to walk the dog before entering the place. A lady in her own black car, while smoking a cigarette, came out to tell me that the area was accessible only to the staff where I didn’t see any sign stating it nowhere. Same lady served us at the till and her attitude was horrible. We will never come back

We stopped on the way to get some soups in a rainy cold day. Before entering the restaurant and while we were walking our well behaved dog, a lady, came out her car (she was clearly having a cigarette break) and told us that the area was accessible only to the staff. An area where there is no sign at all of being reserved only for the stuff. The same person served us at the till when we went inside to grab some soups and her attitude just confirmed the first impression i had of her. Now, if you have a problem with dogs or people walking in the “staff area” ask your business owner to clearly mark the area as a staff only area. We will never come back
