The March menu was always going to be a tough act to follow but the April menu is up to the task. The artichoke soup was first rate. The seafood vol au vent was a celebration of flavour, although a bigger vol au vent would have helped my rubbish presentation. The chicken two ways was the star of the show. Chicken dishes often deliver bland flavours but not this one. It was full on savoury with great sides. Lovely wine and a very well put together dessert rounded things off very well.
