Just a perfect little restaurant that I wish there was more of in terms small family restaurants. Menu was small but cooked to perfection. Atmosphere is cosy, service was outstanding.If I lived closer, this would be a regular place to eat for me.

Vegetarian options: We had a vegan bean chilli each. It was the best chilli we have had in a long while. They have a large menu with all tastes catered for. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Hogmanay party hosts ,great atmosphere,entertainment and food was for the 2nd year in a row incredible with hot buffet and desserts in abundance and very tasty ,we visit regularly and highly recommend a visit in the summer months too as excellent outside seating and tables availableParking: Plenty of parking spaces outside the bistro

The Garden Bar - Inveraray

Stayed here for 3 days mid From the room (The Barn). Basically a small mansion lovely big living area with open fire high ceilings huge dining area and of course huge bedrooms. Absolutely stunning stay Bar is cosy and warm. Very inviting staffs knowledge on whiskey. Shout out to Ivan with the groomed moustache. The food in the main restaurant Salmon trio and the classic Prawn cocktail. Really nice well presented and clearly very fresh To follow we had beef cheeks cooked to perfection ate them with a spoon. So tender and melt in the mouth. Dessert was a bruled brioche french toast with cheese cake and fruit compote Amazing job guys we will definitely be back soon

This review is for the restaurant only. Delicious comfort dishes prepared well with super friendly but slower service. Worth the wait so be patient! Really enjoyed the seafood platter with excellent oysters and yummy smoked mussels. The sticky toffee pudding was awesome without being too sweet. The vanilla ice cream that went with it was a weird flavor but not terrible.

My family and I have been coming here for years. It is historical and beautiful. There is always an amazing lunch and dinner menu. Plus, the best selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. My two year old loves coming here too. Brillant kids menu. Dogs are also allowed. It isn't a trip to Inveraray without coming to The George.One day, I would love to stay the night here. The rooms look absolutely gorgeous.Food & drinks: Amazing food and drink selection.

Nice little caffe in beautiful Inveraray! We stopped in for coffee and a piece of carrot cake. We were between lunch and dinner, so the menu was limited. But the window table was prime, and AJ made us hot drinks to drive off the chill of March!
