We loved this dog friendly pub!! Everyone was very friendly & welcoming.We arrived looking for a spot of lunch. We were not disappointed.The menu was packed with a variety of proper meal options. My partner & I both opted for the chicken, leek & mushroom pie with chips & peas and lovely they were too.

Food served - breakfasts, lunches etc. Occasional Saturday night karaokes and Sunday afternoon open mic live music sessions. Pool table.Good transport links - taxi rank outside, local & express bus stops nearby and railway station a short walk away. Free on-street parking (limited).

What a cheeky wee belter of a local, nice pool table , juke box and food served, but that's not the real gold, the real hero's of this pub are it's staff, the two head honchos will greet you with a smile and laugh with you and make sure your looked after, you can see this by the many faces in the bar who are pretty much part of the furniture, so if you are in the area , or passing through and want to do as the locals do, choose The Burgh
