I used to come here regularly for lunch - the food has always been pleasant. As a frequent customer who has never been anything other than polite to staff, I was shocked by the total rudeness and disrespect with which I was treated by one worker a few days ago. I cannot remember a time when I have ever felt compelled to leave a business a negative review, but I feel that the brazen disrespect with which I was treated warranted nothing less. The lady who served me behaved like a bully and I was utterly humiliated upon leaving the shop. Perhaps I was singled out as I did not seem the sort of person likely to stand up to her. I am looking into how to put in a formal complaint about this interaction as whilst I understand that all staff have off days, the way that I was treated would be intolerable in any social setting, let alone one where a degree of customer service and professionalism is expected. I am disappointed that I have had to write this, and do not intend to taint the reputation of other staff members who have always been nothing but professional: to be clear, this was one individual on one occasion. However, I will unfortunately not be returning to this shop in the future regardless.
