I travelled from livingston for breakfastI had the large breakfast for £9.90 which included 1 of everything and does not come with coffe or tea etc .My coffee was an extra £2.50I asked for an extra potato scone £1The mushrooms were non existentThe full breakfast was extremely greasy .I then tried the banana cake that was extremely dry and I found it hard to use the little fork given because it kept crumblingAnd I got a can of coke £5.60So for 1 breakfast ,cake and juice it was £17Quite expensive and not worth the travel .The staff were friendly though

The working lunch you provided was thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees. The selection of sandwiches and cakes went down well with a lovely addition of sausage rolls and pizza. A really good variety with all tastes catered for. I will certainly recommend yellow for future working lunches.

Lovely place but whoever decided to close it on a sunday should contact a doctor.

I was served by Daryl. She was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating of my wishes. Although early (8.15), ordering a full breakfast seemed no problem and she asked my preferences throughout the cooking process. I was served tea first (my choice) and then asked if I wished a top up when my breakfast arrived, which was really appreciated. Daryl chatted appropriately, checked I was warm enough and asked if the music ? was at an appropriate level. The food was lovely, I felt well looked after, and very relaxed. Without being pushy, Daryl was well informed about the lovely cheesecakes on show and I forced myself (LOL) to take away a piece for later, which was delicious! Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend the Yellow Coloured Café.

Cheesecake on Tuesdays and Fridays is spectacular. Cooked breakfast is great. Don’t rate the French toast unfortunately not as good as I’ve had it elsewhere. A little on the pricey side for a small cafe.Parking: Free parking. Plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Bring my young kids here. Very small soft play area suitable for 18m-3yrs id say

Visited yesterday for brunch after visiting friends before the long journey home. Had a Latte with sweet French toast with berries and honey. It was all delicious. The coffee was the best I’d had for a very long time. Waiting time was impressive considering they were reasonably busy. One in our group looked at the menu and considered it to be expensive but soon changed their mind once they’d finished eating!! (They had the full Scottish) Definitely worth it and definitely worth a visit. I would absolutely revisit. As some of us in the Midlands say - it was Bostin!
