Great find, lots vegetarian options freshly cooked & good sized portions. Usually has daily vegetarian special. Coffee could be better but not as bad as some places.May have outside seating in summer ?Would recommend a visit!Vegetarian options: Varied choices & not the usual run of the mill of Roasted Veg quiche/tarts or Mac'n'Cheese.Kid-friendliness: Toy corner available.Wheelchair accessibility: Complies.

The Anchor Cafe is great. Friendly staff and amazing freshly cooked food. Their homemade sausage rolls are legendary. Portions are very generous. And they've got a lovely garden to enjoy when the sun is shining. Highly recommended!

Great food and the best coffee! We had a couple of breakfast rolls and they were delicious! Calum, our server was exceptional! His polite inviting manner is a credit to the business absolutely. He also had a great chat about guitars which he is obviously passionate about. Fabulous wee cafe.

Fantastic little place! Searched for a cafe to have a proper Scottish breakfast on our first day of holiday here and was not disappointed! Great food and service and wonderful to chat with the chef who gave us some great tips on what to do whilst here in Inverness. Highly recommend!

I deliberately chose this cafe as it was dog friendly and I currently have a 5 month old dachshund. I had a veggie breakfast which was one of the best that I have had. The service was spot on and the staff were friendly. It was so relaxed and I didn't feel for one minute that I wasn't welcome. They even gave my pup some biscuits in his own little dish. Definitely worth a visit - with or without a dog!
