“First tasted Harry Gows Dream Rings from the Co-ops in Kyle of Lochalsh and Broadford on the Isle of Skye a couple of years ago. Rediscovered them from the Dornoch Branch of Harry Gows last week, and bought more of them, some morning rolls and some filled rolls from their Inverness culloden Tower Road place. Best stuff I’ve tasted in a long while. Their rolls are awesome, the filled rolls packed with filling. But the Dream Rings are just a wee taste of that quintessential Scottish bakery style cake that reminds me of home and childhood. Harry Gows is a must visit if you’re in Inverness or it’s catchment area.”
