“The exterior was really historical because it used to be an old church. We didn't make a reservation but because it was still early before dinner they accommodate us. We opted for the early evening course meal of roasted breast of chicken and pan fried pork loin, with the starters of piri piri marinated prawns and crispy chicken tenderloins. The food were delicious.”

“Fab food at a good price. Good selection of beers and spirits. Lots of screens for sport. Allows dogs which was nice. Small inside for eating but very nice and has lots of history.”

“Excellent, refined cooking and gorgeous river views are how I would describe this restaurant. My husband and I were seated at the third floor overlooking the river; it’s a beautiful setting and perfect for a romantic date. Service is good as well, prompt and efficient but not intrusive. We ordered the slow cooked lamb shoulder and the roasted monkfish tail for our mains and the strawberry tart for our dessert. Every dish was excellently-prepared. Special compliments to the chef for the lamb - it was so tender and succulent. Possibly the one of the best renditions of lamb we have tasted in recent times.”

“Lovely lovely lovely! Amazing menu with lots of options for everyone. I started with the soup of the day with the chunky bread and oh my goodness, very appropriate for the weather, loved it. Then for the main course I chose the Wild Scottish Venison Medallion and I was a bit afraid about the sauce but nothing to worry about because it was delicious, the meat was savory and the sauce gave it a nice touch. Of course at some point of the night I had a Guinness, delicious as usual. The service was incredibly fast, you have no idea and the people working there were lovely ?.”

“Had lunch here and food was amazing. Potions were too big if anything meaning sadly I couldn’t have the cheesecake I was eyeing up. Service was great and reasonably priced.”

“We booked in on short notice to have late lunch after a long hike. Dogs very welcome in bar area where they serve food too! Service was so so quick and food was amazing! Portions are so generous and staff are ever so wonderful to dogs who were well looked after. We had large buffalo wings to share, a haddock burger and beef pie which was the best I’ve had! Coffees were delicious too! Thank you for having us!”

“Went with my boyfriend Daniel and we had an amazing time. Most people object to our unique relationship but the staff here were so accommodating towards us! Drinks were nice too! Daniel loved his cramberry juice and I, my orange juice spritzer doused with moët”
