To all my friends and families, please beware. Yesterday, my wife, our 14-month-old baby, and I visited Cinnamon Restaurant in Inverness for Christmas dinner, expecting a festive and welcoming atmosphere. However, we were met with an inflexible and disappointing policy. While we understood there was a £37 Christmas package, my wife was the only one wishing to eat as I wasn't hungry. Despite our situation, the staff insisted that we must order for two people if we wanted to dine in. This lack of understanding and accommodation dampened our holiday spirit and made our experience far from merry. It's disheartening when a family outing turns into a frustrating ordeal due to rigid rules that don't consider the customer's needs.

Was recommended to try so we did, we had the buffet evening dinner on Sunday we were disappointed with the variety of choices there was only 8 curries to choose from and there was no lamb on offer but they did have one curry with beef instead and the curry that had the chicken tikka the chicken was dry didn't even taste like tikka more like cardboard, the only thing that was really good was the chicken pakora that was lovely I'd go back just for the chicken pakora, the desserts were ok not much choices but they were ok

Definitely not my food. Thank you for this experience.Restaurant situated in front of big market Morrison. It is a not small place. In place all time play indian music. A little bit loud. Some of sound pieces were very nice.I ordered main meal paneer in something not spicy (all food in this place spicy or medium spicy) served with naan bread, pilau saffron rice, fried rice with eggs and green peas, lemon green tea.The main thing is that I came here to try pilau saffron rice. I was wondering how it tastes when prepared by experts. And i must say, nothing special. Will try made it is in home, hope it is will be more tasty.Next i try fried rice with eggs and green peas. It is were a little bit spicy but tasty. I would really like to learn how to cook fried rice and egg together, like they do in places like here.Main meal completely wasn't tasty for me. Paneer was ok, but in sauce or what it is was, were too much fat ( oil or butter, i do not know). So in this place taste for me were just cup of green lemon tea.

Food was amazing. Service was diabolical, by one man and one man only. Our waiter was very abrupt, took our food order and walked away before we had the chance to order drinks. He slammed the dishes down on our table as if we were an inconvenience. He eventually asked us if our meal was okay, I asked if I could order another bottle of kingfisher, he nodded, walked away and immediately started taking orders from other tables. 20 mins later I still hadn't received my bottle of beer, we flagged down a waitress who fetched me the beer immediately. Food was amazing, every other member of staff was very friendly, just unfortunately our waiter wasn't so friendly, he's clearly in the wrong job as his customer service is appalling. Unfortunately I won't be back anytime soon, which is a shame, because the food is brilliant but one arrogant waiter has let the place down.

Cinnamon is my favourite Indian restaurant in Inverness. I've eaten here many, many times for nearly twenty years and have never been disappointed.

Prices have gone sky high. Food wasn't hot, waited at least half and hour and only 1 other person in the restaurant. Have been before but never

Worst Indian food in UK. Customer service is so pathetic. Nobody is here to eat free so teach your guys some sense at least.

I came here with my family for the Sunday lunch buffet. The food was alright but there's no big variety for the value and the desserts were not appetising at all.(the cheesecake smelled like fish and was so hard)
