Fish and chips is what I visited the place for especially, but turns out it's quite ordinary. I had better at multiple places in Scotland and london. Service is really poor, particularly the waitress who served us was curt and impolite. Regret stopping over at this place. Choose better while you're at Inverness.

After a day of road self driving, the whole family was already starving. If we knew it would take an hour to wait for food, we would definitely not enter here. Until the checkout, there was still one order of fries and two ice creams that were supposed to be included in the children's meal that were not delivered. We really don't want to wait, so we left after the payment.

Very nice pub, food was first class and the ambient was great. However, they took a bit to bring us the food and then they seemed they had forgotten about us. They didn’t offer us desserts and had to almost shout a waiter to bring us the bill. But I’d still come

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. I loved the steak & ale pie with puff pastry. The mussels and beet carpaccio salad were beautifully presented and delicious. The Banaffe pie for dessert was so good, the wife said it was the best dessert in the 5 weeks we've been in the UK. Great place to eat with good prices.

Atmosphere of this place was very nicee, the lighting really gives me cozy vibes. The food...just wow, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that those mussels are one of the best mussels I've ever eaten. So fresh and amazing, just phenomenal. I quite like the soup of the day and the tart as well, pretty solid food I'd say. Our server Kieran was great as well!! He was very nice, friendly and also quite funny xDD. Had a really wonderful meal! Both servers, Kieran and Poppy had served me and the table amazingly and the dishes were fantastic! Highly recommended to come here for a nice dinner in Inverness!

Found this seemingly unique place that was open mid afternoon which others in area were not! The name caught my eye (named after the song?)Although it seems fairly upmarket they did have kids menu which was appreciated and the food was delicious!The service was a little relaxed but overall definitely recommend!

This place is nice. Food was delicious. Steak pie and fish and chips were both amazing and good sized portions of food. Tar tar sauce with the fish was delicious and had a great dill flavor. The steak pie had amazing flavor. Would definitely visit again.
