We had an amazing stay at Foyers house. The location is perfect for exploring nature, what a view of Loch Ness! The food was great with a good selection of different flavors, and the whisky selection is really impressive. Louise and Terry are great hosts, friendly and welcoming. In all, a stay at Foyers House is highly recommended!Rooms: The rooms are spacious, comfortable and really cozy.

Very comfortable, convenient for the Falls of Foyers and food and drink very welcoming. And there are over 200 whiskies to choose from.

Superb service, beautiful setting, excellent food. Do have dinner here on both nights of your stay. Very comfortable and tasteful rooms. We loved sitting in the smug. The garden overlooking the loch is great for a picnic provided in a basket by Anna. Our stay could not have been better.

My husband and I recently stayed at Foyers Lodge with my parents while traveling through Scotland. Out of all the nine different places we stayed, Foyers Lodge was by far, the best. Our rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. We loved the meals we had in the restaurant, especially the bread Chef Vanessa made herself and the breakfast was a highlight. The Lodge and grounds were so inviting and beautifully decorated. Above all of this, the true highlight were our hosts, Phil and Anna. Not only have they done an amazing job restoring the lodge and managing the business, they are such lovely people. Our pre-dinner drinks in the bar chatting to Phil and our conversations with Anna throughout our stay were special and made the whole experience unforgettable. I highly recommend staying at Foyers Lodge and can'[t wait to return in years to come.

We booked two rooms for a two night stay at Foyers Lodge for a special birthday weekend for my father-in-law. I cannot fault the communication with Anna, who was extremely helpful and considerate. The breakfast was superb, with wonderful varied choices which catered for all tastes. We ate at the hotel on the Saturday evening and the food was superb quality, with a selection of vegetarian choices, a rarity for a such a small place. The rooms are beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless - as is the rest of the hotel. Great artwork to admire and places to rest and read. The views are breathtaking and the hospitality is wonderful, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and look forward to another stay.

My husband and I stayed here one night while traveling through the highlands. It was a lovely little hotel. The room was TINY but charming and for one night we didn't care. The restaurant was excellent and well worth staying at the hotel for. I'm vegan and my husband is not and we both very much enjoyed it. If we're ever in the area again, we will certainly go back.

We stayed just one night but it was glorious. In summary, cozy lodging with beautiful view of Loch Ness with option to dine/drink if you reserve in advance.Lodging cost is for an en-suite room. Then you can pay for what you want for dinner. You can opt in for breakfast at 12.50pp. Good wifi, free parking, and there is shared living spaces to sit around. The owner operators are friendly and happy to share where to go, and what to do. Make sure to ask!Big unexpected perk, walk to the Falls of Foyers from their place. Short (but somewhat steep) walk, it was perfect to walk off our breakfast before heading back out on the road.

Stayed only one night, but wish we had stayed longer. The location was wonderfully scenic on the eastern slope of Loch Ness. The rooms were great and beds comfortable. The included dining area and whiskey bar were a great included experience. The food was great and it was a lot of fun to sample scotch whiskeys I had not tried before. Louise was a great host and fun to visit with.

Anna and Phil run this place very well. Fabulous attention to details coupled with a lovely warm welcome makes it an experience to remember. The food was excellent, our room was faultless and the setting is magnificent. I have written some critical reviews in the past and cannot speak more highly of this hotel. Thank you for squeezing us in after a well timed cancellation (from our point of view)!

Stayed here for two nights in August 23. What a fabulous place. To kick off the view is to die for. We arrived in the sun late afternoon and had a gin and tonic watching the Loch. The hotel has been furnished to a very high standard and we enjoyed the communal areas including the bar. Lovely bedroom with plenty of goodies like waters, teas and coffees (machine), biscuits and great toiletries too. Walks along the Loch and into the forest from the doorstep was just the ticket. Brilliant evening meal and breakfast during the stay. See attached. Perfection. Well done Anna and Phil.

A surprise 2 night stay booked by my awesome partner for a big birthday. What an amazing place. This is truly the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we've stayed in many top hotels over the years. From the welcome from Anna to the guided tour of the property and being shown to our beautifully appointed room overlooking the (daisy free) lawn and Loch Ness to the amazing locally sourced food and hospitality from all of the small team we were so well looked after. The design and attention to detail is credit to both Anna and Phil. Phil also makes a mean Old Fashioned and we found ourselves touting them to other guests! The food was first class, definitely eat there if you can. The linen was divine and the bed superbly comfortable. The history of the property, the art, the repurposed and reupholstered antique pieces, just wow. Anna's great granny's beautifully restored armchair sits perfectly by the wood burning stove. We stayed in Room 5 with a roll top bath in the main room as well as a walk in shower in the En-Suite. You will never want to leave, honestly, it is that good. I woke this morning to the sun rise and sunk back in to my pillow before another perfectly cooked breakfast, I will never forget this trip. Thank you.

A liitle gem tucked away in the highlands of ScotlandFrom the moment we arrived until we left four days later, we were made to feel welcome. Louise and Terry were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Louise gave us great advice on where to go her knowledge of the local area was amazing. Terry was just Terry super funny and an amazing chefFoyer is an absolute gem of a guest house with stunning views of Loch Ness. The rooms are spotlessly clean, of a perfect size, and well maintained, The ensuite shower / toilet again was spotless with lovely soft towels. The bar/restaurant opens on to a lovely decked area that overlooks the Loch. For a small bar, the choice of whisky was second to none (204 different types)We were in Scotland for 10 days, and the home cooked food we had at Foyers was simply delicious. It was by far the best breakfasts out of the four places we stayed. It was cooked to order, which arrived piping hot and was made with local ingredients. The choice of items was great. We tried a number of items on the evening menu, and everything we tried was delicious the portion size was more than you would normally receive. Our out standing items were the smoked salmon (starter) and steak cafe de Paris (main) oh and the Salmon (main)Highly recommended we will definitely be going back.

Amazing place, amazing owners. Everything at Foyers lodge was fabulous: location (beautiful and easy walks to Foyers falls from the hotel), decoration (cosy and personalized), room, food and owners team ! A place worth visiting in Scotland.
