Perfect retreat for a trip in the north. Food is outstanding and the owner is really friendly. Would stop there at any time again.

Stopped in for some lunch on way to Ardnamurchan. What's lovely warm, cosy atmosphere with the most beautiful views. Actually wish we had booked a couple of nights here and explored the surrounding area.

50 years since last visit, Glenuig has managed to keep its unique character whilst adapting to the more modern day, still very friendly and I would recommend anyone to visit! The restaurant was busy whilst I was there and although I didn’t eat there I heard only good things about the food!

This is the second attempt to write this review: TripAdvisor failed to publish the first. Although others have seen it, it has disappeared into the ether! We stayed 2 nights at Glenuig Inn, having booked in January. The location is absolutely stunning with views of the open sea and mountains beyond. The rooms are modern, warm and comfortable with a lovely en suite bathroom. The bar and sitting room are cozy with a great selection of beers and wines. The food is good and straightforward: not a great amount of fish and seafood but great Cullen Skink and good beetroot burgers. The service was exceptional and Rona and her team provided a wonderful experience. The highlight of breakfast was the scrambled eggs on both mornings. Yogurt and a larger selection of fresh fruit and/or prepared fruit would have been welcome but really only a niggle. All in all a great time: many thanks.

What a great surprise this place was. Wife and I stopped after seeing Tioram Castle and had an outstanding lunch. The food blew us away, and the views were gorgeous and peaceful. everything was homemade even the crisps. We both had a soup and panino combo. soup of the day was carrot and coriander, a perfectly light lunch soup that was not overly creamy. My sandwich was venison salami, pork salami, fresh cucumber pickle, and pear/apple chutney. My wife’s was cheddar, sundried tomato pesto, and spinach. Lunch is served 12-3. Dinner is 5-8 and you need a reservation.

We were staying in the area to meet up with friends and visited twice for a meal. Despite being busy and short staffed Rona and her team coped good naturedly with our boisterous group. Our food was tasty and good value. Highly recommend the lamb burger but choices for all tastes and ages. Hard to beat the view at an outside table when the midges allow….
Fantastic!
