I’m sadly writing this review because todays order has ruined my day! I ordered a tomato soup & a chicken mayo sandwich- the tomato soup was given to me in a paper harry gow bag (this was the first time usually it would just be given in a pot with no bag, I didn’t understand it at first but I placed the sandwich and soup in my bag and when I got back to my workplace the whole soup was at the bottom of my bag because of a hole in the cup! This was probably noticed by the lady that worked there and just placed in a bag to hide the fact it was leaking! Absolutely shocking! Once I cleaned up my bag I tried to take a bite of the sandwich to only find a thick black hair in it! ? what is going on? This has never happened to me. I will not be coming back to this Harry Gow.

Love the potato and steak one, strawberry tart is also amazing. They warmed them up for us to be able to eat right away. They’re too good, forgot to take pictures.

We bought chocolate muffin and lemon muffin. OMG the chocolate one was out of this world. The lemon drizzle muffin was very good too but slightly a little too much sugar topping. But yummy. The butteries are also good.

Nice sausage rolls, steak pies were OK. Shame that no pricing was on the front counter in front of each product. Almost £12 for two sausage rolls and pies. A tad expensive.

My wife came home today 25/03 from Harry Gow's Elgin with a cold steak pie for my lunch £3.75 each . Unbelievable rip off for what it was !!!!
Why are there no prices on counter products for customers to see ?
Is it not illegal not to display prices in Scotland??

I had a bit of a disaster on Saturday in that the cake I ordered hadn't gone past the confirmation stage, went to collect the cake and no cake ? the staff could not have been more helpful!! Few phonecalls between local branch and main bakery and they said they could get cake made for that afternoon. Cannot thank the staff enough for rallying to my aid, getting the cake made ready for collection with Rose decorations to boot ? very happy parents celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. Thank you so much Harry Gow ❤️ xx ps the cake was beautiful and very tasty ? xx

The best pies in Scotland, I regularly visit my friends who live just at the back of the factory, and always treat everyone on a Saturday morning at Harry Gows, so when work to me to Inverness, had to do a detour to get a mince pie. Well worth it, was delicious
