Lovely place we only went into the greenhouse so didn't have to do too much walking.A nice tearoom... Really enjoyed it all but would give it 5 stars if there was a gift shop too.

Not the largest but free entry. Unfortunately I was there on a Saturday afternoon at the start of March so it was quite busy with families with small children running around being noisy, far from the peaceful place I expected. There wasn't much colour or much to see but I definitely want to come back when there are less children and more colour. I'm sure it would.be worth 5 stars then.

Lovely regional botanical garden. Not large, but definitely charming. The walks and gardens offer many curiosities as well as familiar pretty faces. The walk from town takes you along the riverside and shouldn't be missed even on a rainy day, perhaps especially on a rainy day. I could take away a star for signage (when you walk up, you really have no idea which way to turn to get to the entrance) and for the café (not a source of healthy options besides water). But the navigation works out and there are plenty of good places to eat in town before or after your visit, so why nag? Enjoy it for what it is and you will have many pleasant visits!

Beautiful place run by the Highland Council. No entry fee, but a donation is requested. The gardens are amazing, with so much variety. There are flowers and fruit grown. There is also an area full of cacti. It's spectacular. There is a fantastic cafe with seating inside and out. Hot and cold drinks, filled sandwiches, rolls and croissants are sold, along with cakes and biscuits. It is well worth a visit.

2022: Small, but mighty. I visited Edinburgh botanical, which is huge, but Inverness did a great job including unique varieties and beautiful gardens. It was a relaxing day walking the gardens and eating lunch at the cafe. My husband sat and read while drinking coffee.

I'm sorry I'm plant freak and could speak about the gardens for hours. It's a beautiful botanic garden entry that is free if charge , there is a donation box by the entrance and as well a card reader so you can donate contact less. Garden its just amazing , we was lucky to visit when tulips was blooming absolutely beautiful. If you are around and a plants lover is definitely must see for you.

Does not close at 4pm!Arrived to find doors closed before 15.45.Closing before 4pm is understandable in winter but not in summer.Great disappointment after a long hot walk.

Lovely place to visit, plenty to see. All well looked after but still looking natural. A real community feel to some of the projects & great place for some refreshments.

A nice place to spend some time. I spent an hour there wandering around and it was very peaceful. There is a cafe as well.

This place is free and a lovely little hidden gem. Beautiful. Restrooms available through the cafe. No dogs allowed and could happily have a little picnic there, tables in the green houses.
