Waitress took our drinks order so we could view the menu...when she came back she took our food order and I noticed she didn't have a order pad with her.We saw two tables come in after us get food and we still hadn't seen our food order we called the waitress across and asked where our food was she came back and said the kitchen had lost our check...I suspect she was so busy she got sidetracked and forgot to write our order on a check....we decided to leave at this point went to pay for our drinks and were told by the chef they were on the house. So the visit wasn't a complete bust

Lovely little spot at the end of the canal. Especially when it's cold and wet to stop by for hot drinks and a snack. ?

A classic local cafe. A lovely place to start or complete a lovely walk along the canal, which lays right outside.Arrived 20 mins before closing, but they still knocked me up a breakfast sandwich and coffee.Very friendly, polite, and attentive staff.Dogs welcome.Parking: Capital right at the door.Wheelchair accessibility: Big ramp inside to get up and down.

Absolutely fantastic! We found Jammy Piece completely by accident on the way back from the Craig Phadrig walk and we're so glad we did! Tasty food (we had the macaroni cheese and the Yorkshire wrap), good prices and friendly staff. Also very dog friendly. Would recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dishes
