First class service and food, I wasn’t sure as I’ve never eaten in a Jamaican restaurant but the menu had something for everyone - host curry for me served with rice and beans. Excellent value for money and enjoyed the ambience too - great reggae too - highly recommend this place - I’ll be back

We were wandering around for a restaurant and decided to pop in randomly. We're so happy we did. The food is out of this world and on the table less than 10 minutes from ordering. The owner was extremely helpful and was very friendly

I almost missed out on this gem, during my trip to Inverness, because of a few negative reviews I read. Please don’t let them deter you.My experience was fabulous - the service was prompt and friendly, the food was tasty and well seasoned (not too salty, balanced and authentic), with big portions (I had to unbutton my jeans ?). I had the oxtail while my partner had the escovitch fish. For dessert I had the deep fried ice cream, served beautifully with baked pear, tamarind and coconut - DELICIOUS!The atmosphere and music was on point from the lighting to the old school reggae music! My only criticism is that the food could be spicer, but my family are from Jamaica and I realise the food needs to cater to local palates ?.4.5/5, this place should be full, so please give it a try, even if you are vaguely curious ☀️

Vegan option and Meaty option both highly rated! Really hearty delicious food. Would absolutely recommend.Vegetarian options: Vegan menu offered seperately. The Callaloo and Okra was delicious and a perfect portion size.

I noticed 'curried goat' on the menu outside this place and decided to give it a go. I did not regret this. Said goat was served with rice and beans and a salad. It was wonderful. The meat was tender and flavorsome and perfectly spiced giving just the right amount of heat and lovely aftertaste. To drink I had a bottle of Cairngorm brewery's Sheepshagger blonde ale which went well. The music and bright paintwork gave as much of a Caribbean feel as you can expect on a damp evening in Inverness and I couldn't fault the service. This is now my number one go to restaurant north of St Andrews.

If you love Jamaican food and reggae music this is probably the best place in Scotland to come ! I had red snapper and my wife had jerk chicken, two typical Jamaican dishes and they were fabulous. Everything about this place reminds me of why I love Jamaica so much

Avoid! I appreciate this isn’t a “fast food” restaurant, but they’re taking the mickey. After taking our seat, it took over 20 minutes before they took our order and then almost another hour for it to arrive. And when it did, it was disappointing. Pizza was burnt to a crisp (barely edible). The jerk chicken was nice, very flavoursome, but it had NO heat (spice) to it at all – definitely shouldn’t be described as “jerk”.

First time here and will definitely be back! Was stunned to see how reasonably priced the food was for the flavour and portion sizes you get. The cocktails are fantastic and definitely have a kick to them! Atmosphere is homely and enjoyable and the staff are very warm welcoming and friendly. I have absolutely no faults with this establishment and have to say, the best food I've had in Inverness!

We had mussels in curry which was suprisingly delicious. The curry goat was tender and tasty. However, the noodles with the overcooked monk fish and shrimp was very bland and disappointing.

Forget the pretentious burger places in Inverness, this place is so much better.. Will definitely be back. Staff were great.

Called in for a cocktail one afternoon last week. Service took absolutely ages even though there were only another couple in. I chose a coconut cream which was meant to have rum in it. Once it finally arrived, I honestly don’t think it had any alcohol in it. It tasted of coconut water only. The couple at the other table had food which looked unappealing and they left most of it! Won’t be back!

We are local and have been a few times. Each time we’ve been we’ve had great cocktails, delicious food and the staff are always very friendly and helpful with our young children. All in all good value for money food in a relaxed atmosphere in the city centre

Dined in and after ordering had an emergency and had to leave. Staff packed up our food for takeaway and we're really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing a solid portions too. Will return to enjoy the nice atmosphere!
