Valentines night dinner totally spoiled .waiter served our main meal 4 times before the food was what we had ordered

As always, brilliant service from Gailes! We usually go to GGs for lunch, but fancied dinner this time so went to the "big restaurant"! Nothing's ever too much, even with my go-to starters out of stock, they were more than happy to adjust and always very patient and helpful with a panicky, autistic person (it's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me!) who's had to change their order on a whim!

Simpsinns had an offer or DBB+prosecco which was purchased for my wife as a gift.The website booking process wasn't very clear so I contacted them by phone and the person I was speaking with directed me to what I was to purchase whilst I was on the phone with them.I bought what they advised and I have just tried to book the stay for 22/3/23 to be told I have to pay further money to book this offer.Overall, the booking process was unclear, the 'on phone' advice now turns out to be incorrect and we are being forced to pay more money.Having explained the situation today on the phone I thought there might be some understanding, as it had been a Simpsinns employee who directed me to purchase what they advised me in real time, but no understanding at all, I either pay more, take a lesser deal (that we don't want) or get a refund.Out of principal we are not willing to pay more so we are no longer going to be staying at this place.I wonder how many more people have been forced to pay more when they go to book their stay.Forced upselling isn't a good way to treat customers, especially at the very start of the process.We'll never get to know what this place was like to be able to write a review having had a stay here.Poor show.

Went to the restaurant after visiting the driving range, waited in the spot where the sign tells you too wait to be seated, at least 4/5 members of staff made eye contact but not one of them asked if I had been spoken to. After 11 minutes waiting one of the bar staff said “ what do you want” I said I was waiting in the place where instructed to to be seated, she wandered off after mumbling something, waited another 2 minutes and decided to call it a day. Absolute rubbish service, but no doubt it will be blamed on being busy, there is no excuse for leaving potential customers waiting for 11 minutes before being spoken to. There were plenty of staff but it appears none of them tasked with seating customers so they didn’t bother!

Didn't stay in the hotel, however stopped by on way home for some breakfast the a light lunch later on. I got the light breakfast and it was really good. The tomato and basil soup was also pretty good. Bread that came with it was not so fresh. Server was helpful and friendly. Lovely location and premises are nice, clean and tidy!

Business trip so staying just the one night. Restaurant is very busyThey are all doing a great job in difficult circumstances. I've just had room service and the food was hot and fresh, delivered by masked ladies. Everyone very friendly and professional. I see a lot of attention being paid to ensuring customers and staff are as safe as possible in these challenging times. I've only interacted with the reception and waiting staff but my impressions are of a well-managed and capable team. I would not hesitate to recommend a visit based on my experiences.

No Covid precautions had been made in the gym (except for sanitisation wipes.)I was asked to move multiple times due to poor set up and generally made to feel uncomfortable - and ended up wasting £10 as I decided to go back to my room. Noisy neighbours but not the hotel's fault. Extremely clean though, and staff offered great service. Breakfast included and very tasty. Dinner service very expensive and food was not great.
