Their burgers are outstanding! Really well cooked, seasoned and a great selection to choose from. I’ve seen some people complain about the price, but what you get is a fresh 6oz Aberdeen Angus, and your choice of toppings. It’s a pretty standard price for a really good burger!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and gluten free menus available

Any restaurant is only as good as it's last meal. I've changed this review from 5 to a 1. It was chicken wings (salt is not a spice) and very poor fish and chips, apple caramel sponge, (no apple and dry sponge. Don't be complacent be consistent. Service a wee bit too cheeky/informal, some may like this.

“Holy New Eating Place Batman !! “. ..... All I can say is Fab, Wonderful, Excellent, Super, Scrumptious, ...... right that’s enough.... yup. Five star review is well deserved !!! To be perfectly honest we haven’t been able to visit for a while now, although “Niche” in its present form is wonderful, and fingers crossed with its continued support it continues to flourish. I have been to three ‘other’ eating establishments that are sited around here. Unfortunately, two out of the three are superb as well so, spread the wealth people. Balancing out the pros and cons of them ….. Niche kind of wins out because of a couple of things. Alternative menus, specialised events, portion size ( they don’t skimp )We had a fabulous Burns Afternoon Tea. Delish sandwiches, dinky cakes, home made scones, and Haggis Spring Rolls ( with Iron Brew mayo !!! ) and finished off with loads of Tunnock’s goodies ?We will definitely return in the very near future, the food is (as detailed above) the staff are attentive, friendly, and very professional, I have no quibbles about recommending ‘Niche’ to anyone ..... just as long as you don’t take my booking on the night ???...UPDATE: since we have ( rebound ) this place it’s constantly going up in our estimation …. We went in for breakfast and it was brilliant !!! I even had a coffee WITHOUT sugar….. and this is someone that was put on to ‘half spoon’ sugar to help me cut down. Cornflakes, Rice Crispies, ….practically every cereal has a little white mound of the sweet stuff. However, I had a coffee that tasted of coffee and didn’t require ANY sugar.Parking: You can get parked really close to the restaurant, on the street. ( if you’re lucky you might get to park outside the door. )

Met up with friends here for lunch. Portions were large and food was lovely. Staff friendly and although busy service was quick. I would advise booking as this is a popular little Niche.

The Niche was the perfect place to go for a spot of lunch with my husband! We both had the haggis spring rolls for starters and haddock and chips for main which was delicious! My husband and I nipped along to The Niche for some lunch this afternoon. We were seated straight away in a really cosy spot which was much appreciated as it was freezing outside. We were served by Mal who was really friendly and went over today's specials etc. My husband had their Dorito burger which he said was amazing! I had the bacon and cheese toastie with tortilla chips and salad which was also amazing! Both of us especially enjoyed the famous Niche sauce, sooo good! Mal was attentive and efficient which made our experience even better. We'll definitely be back again and would recommend to anyone!
