Our visit here was unexpectedly brilliant! We came as a family and had a range of dishes from pizza, to all day breakfast to toasties and soup. Everything was beautifully cooked and very delicious. The portions were huge - enough that we took pizza home and had it for lunch the next day. What a find! We’ll definitely be back - if I could rate more than 5 stars I would.

We were seated by the young waitress and we Sat and waited to order, the two waitress served four lots of take away coffees before us then another couple came in and sat down went to counter and asked for two lattes which were promptly made and taken to their table, we sat and we sat, neither waitress came to take our order and one collected milk from the counter and took to the kitchen, never given us eye contact even!!! The weekend staff are much more pleasant and have never been ignored here before.

We called in on spec this Monday as the cafe was opening up. Very friendly welcome. Lovely decor and tables well set out Excellent menu. Good coffee and fabulous toasted teacakes. All the staff were super. Happy to see you and treat you like a friend If you are in the area call in You won't be disappointed.

We arrived on a busy lunchtime and found several spare tables loaded with uncleared dirty plates. A long wait for food was indicated but we were happy to stick to a Victoria sponge and millionaires shortbread with our coffees which were then served promptly.

Lovely visit today for lunch, lots to choose from on the menu, suitable for everyone even fussy kids(pancakes were a winner for my boys) vegan and gluten free options on the menu also. We arrived late afternoon and the broccoli and stilton soup was not available so the chef kindly came to the table and offered to make me a suprise keto recipe, Top class service for fussy customer like us. Thankyou so much, look forward to coming back.

I arrived fresh off the Borders Abbey Way having spent the day running and was offered some water immediately along with a seat - I must have looked in dire need of it, but this was very much welcomed on a hot day. I enjoyed a lovely lunch of a very cheesy sourdough toastie and observed the young man who had been so kind on my arrival showing the same care and attention to other customers. A real credit to the establishment. Thank you.

We stopped here on our way through Jedburgh to somewhere further north in Scotland. What a gem of a cafe. They had a range of gluten free options; I had a huge slice of gluten free coffee and walnut cake. The lady who served us was knowledgeable about my dietary needs as a Coeliac too which makes a lovely change to the usual service revived in other coffee shops. My husband (who can eat normal food) got a lovely looking waffle and ice cream). And to boot I had a tea pot that didn’t leak - flipping fabulous :) I would 100% recommend this place.

Very good even at closing time ! Coffee and cake were very good indeed even though we were served at closing time and probably in the way of cleaning! Everything good and a nice place to eat and drink - very neat clean and tidy. Loads of parking.

Very satisfied with Abbey Bridge from start to finish. Peter came to see our property, and made good recommendations. The team who fitted the stoves were excellent, great workmen and a pleasure to have around. All done without fuss in a week, really clean. The results are great, very efficient stoves that give off good heat and really enhance our home.

Breakfast, very limited options for a vegetarian or a vegan unfortunately therefore cannot recommend.

Great welcome, interesting menu and fabulous food. We ordered a breakfast omelette and French toast. Swiftly served, quality ingredients and friendly staff. Thank you so much for breaking the journey from Edinburgh to home in Durham on a cold dismal day. Our favourite stopover! All the best.

We arrived at 4.39 at the carry out kiosk (when the closing time is 5pm) “Are you closing?” Hostile glare. “We are in to process of closing” All we wanted was carry out coffees but were treated to an outrageous display of unco-operative rudeness. Dirty looks when we asked if they had any cakes. No. This was the rudest waitress I have ever met. I note with interest that recent reviews have said much the same thing. Coffee pretty grim. My advice would be avoid avoid avoid.
