Mounthooly, JedburghHad a fabulous evening with family last night at The Caddy Man. The food was amazing, staff were great and very attentive making sure everyone was happy and had everything they needed. Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant and their nomination for Best Game restaurant is very well deserved. Thank you for a wonderful evening and we will be back.Highly recommend the rabbit, brown hare, wild boar dishes.Parking: Plenty of car space.

Border Meringues
Unit 1, Old Station Yard, Edinburgh Rd, JedburghAbsolutely love it, foods great, drinks great and service all great, only thing I'd suggest is some less door music, can be quite off putting when someone struggling but meets up for a coffee and it's emotional music playing but other than that the perfect place for cuppa and wee lunch!

Service was awesome and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.Vegetarian options: I don't eat much vegetarian meals but ther was a few on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Not to sure but I'm sure if you asked the staff would make what you asked them to.Kid-friendliness: Really kind really friendly lovely place great food and people Jedburgh is an awesome town.

Harestanes Main Building, Ancrum, JedburghI go here often. I like the atmosphere and ambience- a good choice of non- intrusive background music and lovely polite and yes, serene, staff. Personally, I like their food based round the soup and sandwich formula. Tasty and different. Reasonable value taking into account massive running costs. These young people are involved in ownership of the business and deserve support. You can have a walk, visit the impressive wood showroom and also buy eco- friendly gifts in the foyer. Loads of tables outside ( for the exclusive use of customers) for when the weather is clement. Lovely radiant wood- burning stove inside as well.

Abbey Bridge Stove Centre
Unit 2, Riverside Works, Edinburgh Rd, JedburghOur visit here was unexpectedly brilliant! We came as a family and had a range of dishes from pizza, to all day breakfast to toasties and soup. Everything was beautifully cooked and very delicious. The portions were huge - enough that we took pizza home and had it for lunch the next day. What a find! We’ll definitely be back - if I could rate more than 5 stars I would.

45 High St, JedburghThis take away is fabulous,my wife and I were passing through and stopped at Jedburgh Baguettes,the service was very good and the young chap who owns it explained everything on display even the scrumptious cakes which his sister makes you should definitely try this place.by the way we had two baguettes and a one tray bake each with the hottest cup of tea I have had.The prices are unbelievable for what you get.We sat outside then went in and chatted to the owner and his sister to whom we wish all the best for the future. 52 High St, JedburghFab night out in here with my new favourite Scottish bar lady, and my new favourite Scottish Nurse on standby in case of beer emergencies! Good beer, and a great crowd made this lone Englishman very, very welcome! Very knowledgeable rugby crowd in here too….perfect for swinging the rugby memories lamp! ?

8 Abbey Pl, JedburghPopped in to Jed to find some grub and found ….Huge Menu- we bought 3diff dishes ‘family of 4’. Description of the food…Crispy chips. Crispy scampi, real meat in the pies and a good amount of it. The battered sausage ‘best one ever’ from the 10 year old. And good sized portions. We will be stopping again!

Golden River Chinese Takeaway
16 Canongate, JedburghPhoned in an order, told it would take 15 mins but on arrival it wasn't ready, we then waited another 15 mins until it was ready.Prices seem very expensive, almost cost £20 for just one meal, but when we got home the portions were huge, it could easily feed 3 people.Food was very nice and enjoyable but nothing was amazing!
