Used to love coming here when the kids were little. Still do come with them now there teens to walk the dog. However its the first time in a while I have used the cafe. Disappointed with the choice of food - we all know kids are fussy. Gone is the normal food which has been replaced with fancy sandwiches and organic fizzy drinks. Was much better when you could get normal toasties and a can of juice. Also disappointed to learn you are not welcome to bring your own food/drinks and sit in the court yard. We spent ages there with picnics in the summer - we still spent money in the cafe with the adults wanting hot drinks. Think this will put a lot of people off in the summer.Would love to walk the dog in a morning then grab a cuppa and something simple like a bacon roll.

I go here often. I like the atmosphere and ambience- a good choice of non- intrusive background music and lovely polite and yes, serene, staff. Personally, I like their food based round the soup and sandwich formula. Tasty and different. Reasonable value taking into account massive running costs. These young people are involved in ownership of the business and deserve support. You can have a walk, visit the impressive wood showroom and also buy eco- friendly gifts in the foyer. Loads of tables outside ( for the exclusive use of customers) for when the weather is clement. Lovely radiant wood- burning stove inside as well.

We really enjoy family trips here. Have a play at the big park then top up with hot drinks and delicious food. The small family room has lots of toys for wee ones to play with. Really nice wee spot.Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly. We frequently use the cozy family room which has a great array of toys for little ones and comfy sofas for parents.Wheelchair accessibility: All ground floor in the eating area, with wheelchair friendly swings at the nearby park.

Absolutely love the addition of a family room. The calming atmosphere and opportunity for the kids to play while adults eat was such a nice change. We had a lovely kids meal, perfect portion for the 4 year old, and my coffee and Nanwich was delicious. Lots of vegetarian options, and healthy food on the menu. These guys are making this a destination cafe!!

Being going for over a year now.More regularly recently it’s part of my cycle route. It’s a great place to stop refresh and relax. Coffee is superb Food is delicious and more importantly different. The atmosphere is always pleasant with a good mix of old and young. The staff are fantastic and the cafe is spotless. Highly recommended.Kid-friendliness: Staff are so good with really young kids and this adds to vibe not to mention dogs.

We stopped for lunch here en route for Aberdeen. What a great find! The menu was more creative and better than most cafes. The food was delicious and the coffee, too. I loved how it was vegan and vegetarian. The decor was beautiful and the staff were so friendly too. We would definitely recommend this cafe.

Totally get the concept, but felt sitting outside was quite unfriendly having to pay before you eat. Bon accord drinks were disgusting and I think we were just supposed to drink from the bottle. Food was ok, not much of it, but no napkins or cutlery offered. Trying to be eco friendly but no recycling? Nothing really teenage friendly to eat. Just all a bit bizarre.

Stunning place for food and coffee, we accidentally stumbled across it on the map and we where so glad we came - food is beautiful, really different selections, plenty of great Vegan options and the sweets are really good. Really loved my coffee too! To round it off its dog friendly too, super friendly - the staff where so good with our little scruffy terriers, we could sit in or outside with them. Very friendly service, we will make a detour to come here again - can't recommend enough.Vegetarian options: Veggie and Vegan optionsKid-friendliness: Lots of space for family's, young and old, located next to a great park, courtyard has loads of space - very popular with younger kids - but never felt overcrowdedParking: Plenty of space for a medium wheelbase Camper - space for larger available
