Very enjoyable meal in nice relaxed surroundings. Large portions and very reasonably priced. Waitress who greeted us on arrival was friendly and professional. Spoke to the young chef (Calum) as we were we leaving. Very impressionable young man who wished us well and hoped we enjoyed our meal. We will be back.

Our family decided on Callums for Christmas dinner it was booked and all paid well in advance and we were all looking so forward to it. But It was a disaster the soup was so salty but as we hadn't ate all day we ate it and thought the traditional dinner will be better , but the potato mash was stone cold in the middle the turkey was cold ( I do like cold turkey) but was expecting steam coming off my plate, the roast potatoe 'one ' was like a sponge and didn't resemble a roast potato ,I had no veg carrots, sprouts ect, so asked for some veg ,a bowl was brought with green beans and 2 Small sprouts which I couldn't get on to my fork. Sticky toffee pudding was horrible even my 5 years old niece's reaction said it all . For the amounts of money we had paid but could not eat anything I feel angry. There are no excuses as we planned well in advance and so should have Callums bar and restaurant. I do not recommend this place.

I had a lovely vegetarian meal. Unfortunately there aren't enough vegetarian options on the menuVegetarian options: There aren't enough vegetarian options to choose from. Luckily I enjoyed the one that was on the menu

After the last few years our family were so looking forward to being able to get together and what better day to do it, Christmas day. So we all ordered soup for starter, it was so salty and the bread was more like crumpet texture. Not good. So looking forward to our main course and once it came one plate had no veg, one plate the food was stone cold, all other plates the food was look warm, the pigs in blankets were burnt so much you couldn't put your fork or knife in them. Dessert was not any better, sticky toffe pudding with ice cream. Not any of us could eat it it was disgusting. Had we not already have paid £45 per person in full we wouldn't have paid at all. Won't be going again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Had pre christmas meal here which was lovely and despite the fact one of thier chefs hadnt turned up the service was great, the staff kept us informed all the way through that food would be a little slower coming out due to only one chef, the renovation is lovely and staff friendly..
