First time visiting this restaurant and it was superb. We were 3 adults and 2 children. The adults had king prawn risotto, penne principessa and pollo genovese. The kids had pizzas with extra toppings. We all ate everything we could (it’s worth bringing a good appetite!). The starters were also delicious, and the wide selection of puddings had something for everyone. Plenty of choice of wines by the glass - the Montepulciano is a favourite.Staff were welcoming and efficient. We’ll definitely be back!

This little restaurant was a big surprise, not only was the it really nice inside but the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely amazing. Me and my girlfriend booked in for valentines day and we weren't disappointed because they really give big restaurant chains like Miller and Carter a proper run for their money.We got the the muscles and the stornaway haggis bon bons which was just the start of our tour de taste which set us up for our main course the Chateaubriand to share which was the most succulent cuts of steak i'v tasted, cooked medium-rare to perfection which comes with some cherry tomatoes, 4 larger onion rings and your choice of chips which believe me was enough to fill me up to the point i almost couldn't stomach a pudding but i'm glad i did because i got to try the sticky toffee pudding and ice cream which totally topped off the whole experience while my gf gpr the chocolate moose which was a valentines day special for yhe occasion. If your reading this then I hope you give them a try because I will definitely be going back for more. See you again soon.

I went to the Trust this afternoon for lunch with my family, we thoroughly enjoyed it, the food was perfect, the service was fantastic couldn't ask for anymore, it's also dog friendly which was a bonus, very reasonably priced, I'll definitely be back.

Stopped in for a bite to eat while out walking the dogs. Dog friendly which is fantastic, got offered a bowl of water straight away and they even had a dogs menu. Ordered two dishes from the weekend specials, and I must say my partner and I were very impressed. I’ve been in before for steak pie and a burger, but these specials were amazing.

It's the best takeaway in the world and as my belt will tell you, I have been to many.Back when I lived in Johnstone, I would get a naan & korma sauce on the way home when working late. The individual sauces are still on the menu to this day and I have never seen another takeaway do such a thing.I moved to England over 10 years ago and the takeaways down there are rubbish. So much so that we make a point to go to the Punjabi Junction when up visiting family in the area and so on.Even if I can't make it up due to work, my wife will bring me back one.Every few years we come up for Christmas and buy a big takeaway for the family. We phone at four and give the order, then collect later.Throughout this process, we get better service in the ordering and collecting than anywhere else. Never wrong, always on time and always happy to accommodate.Even when collecting, it is a real familiar service where we chat and banter with the staff.Seriously been going there for about 30 years now which is depressing to type due to how time passes but I cannot underline just how great the place is.Definitely try it at least once, but note you may become addicted like I did and nothing else will ever compare.

Sorta restaurant with pub at the front, was visiting family in Johnstone recently, went for a pint with me Da and this was only place that got a pass mark, staff were courteous and polite, Guinness was decent, in fact I've tasted worse in Dublin. The clientele in bar were we bit rough around the edges but pleasant enough and not causing any hassle or overly noisy like some places. It was a warm cloudy day and the barmaid offered to close the front door and put the on the aircon... something I never thought I'd hear of in Scotland. All in all a decent shop

They have started doing pizzas from 5pm till 10pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I'm not a pizza lover as a rule, but I was very pleasantly surprised as to how much I enjoyed it. I certainly will be back. I could get a burger if I wanted. Its definitely worth a visit.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian.My nephew was with me, who is vegetarian. He was delighted with the options he was offeredHappyParking: It's positioned on a busy corner next to a very busy licence grocers, but it's still easy to find a space.

Best Chinese takeaway in Johnstone. Salt & Chilli chicken wings - fresh, crispy and very tasty. Mongolian beef is just delicious! Had this dish several times now and it doesn't disappoint. Portion sizes are excellent and prices competitive. We will be back!

My mate put me onto this place a few months back and I'm so glad he did. Me and my daughter love pizza and this place delivers every time. I stay 25mins away from this place and don't mind travelling to pick it up,we haven't ate any other freshly made pizza from anywhere this year. 10/10 and would recommend to everyone who loves a freshly made tasty pizza and the staff are all very welcoming and friendly

We visited the restaurant on the Saturday the 9th March 1pm. We were a party of 4, 3 which were vegan. My mum chose fish & chips. We had asked if the soup was vegan which it was (fab) Most aren't? The sandwich selection had no vegan option, when we asked they checked with chef & we had options which was great. We love soup & a sandwich at lunch.The soup & sandwiches came out, cheese & tomato & cheese & pickle with a lovely portion of homemade coleslaw & side salad which was really appreciated. Usually it's just left off because they don't have vegan coleslaw. So this was just lovely, we also got a small tub of (v ) mayonnaise too.lovely to dip our chips in. We also got vegan puddings which were delicious ?Thank-you so much for providing vegan options. Our chef was luke, he deserves a gold star for going above & beyond. ? The restaurant was very busy & he still went out his way. Thank-you to all staff who were serving that day too. So helpful & with a lovely smile. Well done team Bowfield! We will be back. ??
