This was our first visit to Beijing banquet and we were quite impressed by the selections of starters and mains on offer but the desserts were very poor, they had a chocolate fountain with only marshmallows on offer, not a strawberry/banana/etc in sight, a very limited choice of ice cream, a weird horrible chocolate crispy thing and unflavoured popcorn and cakes that I've never heard of? Jelly cubes that tastied like they hadn't even set the jelly, it was like they just cut it out straight from the packet.Most of the mains were good but the chips and satay chicken were not cooked properly, it was very pink in the middle, so be wary!It's good but could be so much better!Edit- visited for the second time recently and things were just the same, the starters and mains were good but the desserts were not good, I didn't eat any!

To be honest I absolutely love the food fresh hot and a fantastic selection. The deserts was amazing ice cream ? lots of flavours cakes marshmallow with chocolate fountain will certainly be back well worth the money ?Vegetarian options: Choose what you want and eat as much as you ?Kid-friendliness: They have all kinds of dishes that the kids liked plenty variety ?Wheelchair accessibility: No problem for wheelchair access ?

A great range of dishes, wide variety of choices to suit basic tastes or people who are a bit more adventurous.Friendly staff, quick at cleaning up any used dishes etc. Well worth a visitParking: There is a carpark to the rear of the restaurant but also two cinema car parks at either side. Some visitors still park on the roadside outside.Kid-friendliness: Great place for taking kids. There are kids type foods, chicken nuggets and chips etc, plus such a big variety of dishes. A buffet is great as kids can try lots of different things. The desert station is ideal for kids too, both an ice cream machine and soft scoop ice-creams and lots of other deserts.

My only concern was children helping themselves to food without adult supervision and hand no hand sanitising stations at a buffet is asking for trouble.Parking: A large parking area is close to the restaurant and cinema area.Kid-friendliness: Children loved this experience, and the restaurant had plenty of choice for them. Although the restaurant could have had an adult standing around areas to ensure supervision around hot plates and the selection of food. They were too busy back and forth filling to notice any children spilling/touching food. Parents should be encouraged to supervise by a sign around hot plates areas.

I had a lovely meal when there but about 4 hours later I was hit with food poisoning. I was so ill. I ate prawns which I never do and I'm sure that this is the culprit. I won't be back due to this.
