Saw the Forfar Brodie whilst shopping in Aldi and thought I would try it. Totally disgusting, nothing like the 'real' Forfar bridie and full of E numbers. An insult to the proper Forfar bridie
I've only ever eaten one pie from - and in - Kilmarnock and it was bloody brilliant, but their cakes are definitely worth mentioning. The fondant fancy is recommended, as is their caramel tart.
