This Cafe has been open 25 plus years. The food has always been simple but always tasty . Can get busy in early afternoons and Saturdays. Always return here and never had a bad experience, or bad foid, in all these years.

Absolute mayhem warned of delays due to staff shortages even though 6 people in kitchen 5 tables that arrived after us served first eventually got food an hour after arrival and had to order more drinks as drank ours whilst waiting only stayed as had elderly relative with us. Food good but avoid if sign on door

My friend & I popped in here, spontaneously, for a latte, hot chocolate & 2 cheese & ham toasties.The food itself was good (how could you possibly go wrong with 2 simple toasties???)The service was in itself efficient enough but not friendly or even particularly welcoming.I found it to be expensive for the type of place it is, costing more than £17...I could've gone somewhere nearby far nicer
