Great little village pub. Staff are brilliant and can always help or suggest alternatives. Still no food being served.

Been here twice. The chips were stale both times we went. Although, staff are friendly and polite. Service was fast.

Popped into Dunlop for a quick visit as it was my childhood haunt long ago, being a bit peckish my sister and I stopped at merito for some lunch, we were greeted by the lovely Rebecca who was friendly, attentive and very informative, the place is nice and cosy, I had a fish tea which very fairly priced and tasted delicious, sis had a panini which she also enjoyed, I shall return.

Great food! Very friendly attentive staff ensure a warm reception and service in this wee gem in the village of Dunlop. Very tasty food, good selection and very reasonably priced, nice ambience enhanced by wood burning stove in restaurant. Look forward to going back!!

First time we've visited. Been promising Denise we would for ages and I have to say we were well impressed. We went for lunch and both had a fish tea. Talk about value for money? £6.50 and you get bread, butter and tea or coffee. My 91 year old mum is the fish n chips guru and she loved it so that says a lot. Loved the huge chips. The service from Martyn was excellent. Very attentive and chatty. You lose a point for the long wait as the folk ahead were only having soup and toasties but apart from that we loved it. Will definitely be back.

The pub is community owned and well worth supporting. The lunch we had was simple, reasonably priced and the service good

Overall, this was a very nice experience, although the time between ordering and food arrival, was a bit long, the quality and portion size was perfect. The pricing was very good, and the happy friendly staff were a joy.
